Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaHonestly speaking it is hard to think of any negative side of this hotel. There can be one improvement though that is in the plumbing of the bathroom as it happens to leak below the wash basin sometimes but that is manageable.
This is perhaps the best hotel I’ve ever lived in. Everything from the quality of room, comfort, facilities provided as well as the exceptional, courteous behavior of the staff was top notch. The location was just the cherry on the top as it was right in centre of the city and walkable distance from the pub street and other shopping options.

Brunei DarussalamNot an issue for me, but there are no elevators, only stairs.
Good location, very friendly and warm staff, eco-friendly, comfortable and spacious room! Highly recommend! I stayed here for 3 nights and had an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The location is in a quiet yet central part of Siem Reap. Walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. The Nest was a great and comfortable place to stay after a day of exploring the city. I was able to have a good night sleep every night I stayed there. Good warm showers. A spacious and clean room with a small balcony and several sofas. It's also an eco-friendly hotel too and strive to be as plastic-free as they could. They provide stainless steel water bottles in the hotel room to refill water downstairs. They also had a restaurant (which is also the lobby) but I didn't had the chance to try the food there. The staff were very hospitable, exceptional and made me felt welcome since checking in. They were always greeting me and asked me about my day. As a guest, I had access to the Jungle's (sister hotel) afternoon tea and swimming pool, which is only within 2 minutes walk from The Nest.

GermanyWe would love to give a hearty, warm and strong recommendation for people to come and stay at The Nest. We have just ended a 5-day stay there, as a part of a 2-month travel so far in Asia and this was our favorite choice, and here's why: 1. The team - this was the strongest thing for us. The team was so dedicated and nice and warm and always gave us the most amazing feeling. They would greet us with a great smile and warmth every time we came back, always looked for all possible ways to make things easier and more fun for us, and mostly - in the last day, when we had about 10 hours after check out before our next bus - they offered us everything within their capability to make this time pleasant and easy for us, and they did so with a great smile while making us feel great and welcome even after checking out 2. The collaboration - so The Nest is actually one place out of 3 places (together with The Jungle and The Urban) that are literally 1 minute walk away from each other, and offer different values - the Jungle is another small hotel but with a great pool and an afternoon tea for free, every day, which includes tea, fruits, cookies and much more. That's such a nice thing to have as a bonus, especially when hanging at the Jungle's pool! We did it every day almost. The Urban is a restaurant, we didn't go there but it also seems really nice. 3. The location - that's also perfect because it's really in the center but in a quiet street. So in less than 5 minutes you can reach all the hustle bustle but still have a quiet environment to go back to 4. The facilities - room cleaning every day, the shower was great, the room was spacious and all in all - really great for what it costs 5. Value for money - it's the best value for money we had so far in our trip. We got so much for such a reasonable price, that just even on the logical level - choosing The Nest as your accomodation in Siem Reap is a really smart decision.

IrelandThe Nest is in an excellent location! Nothing is more than a 10 minute walk to all restaurants, bars and cafes. The Nest is immaculately clean and our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were so friendly but did not have great English.

The location of the hotel is really great! It’s just a 5-minute walk to Pub Street. Although it’s close to Pub Street, the block is very quiet. I had really great sleep here at night. The room is big, clean, and comfy. Also, there are plenty of amenities nearby, like convenience stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. The staff here are super warm-hearted and helpful!
