Excellent location. Walking distance from lots of restaurants, cruise ship port, ferry terminal, town center. Not for travelers who want luxury on vacation. Great for overnight stay for travelers spending the day out. Clean. Daily room service. Kitchen service. Bar.

The host was professional, friendly and accommodating. My husband and I received a warm greeting upon our arrival and checking in process was quick. In the morning we put in our request for breakfast and nothing was too much for the chef. Also an ideal location to catch the boat to Nevis, 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

Shops opposite the hotel play very loud music on boom boxes from about 10am to 5pm. Obviously not the hotel's fault, but it's intrusive!

The rooms are good. Excellent location for using the Makana ferry. Nice breakfast room to sit in (breakfast at reasonable cost). Very helpful staff, brought us a refrigerator. Great value for money. Recommend 4 Ways restaurant rather than restaurants in food court.

The guests were a bit noisy slamming doors at 2am.

Near to airport. Next to ferry. Very helpful friendly staff. Good security. Comfortable bed. Didn't have breakfast so cant give an opinion. Several shops nearby open in evening though only hot food in evening was mediocre Chinese.

Little Noice at the location area.

The location is good, about 10 minutes working to Port Zante and 4 minutes to ferry port to Nevis. The breakfast is big and good for USD12.

The Seaview has no sea view nor any view actually (as our room did not have window) and from the hotel balcony you see only main street with repro music all day round (not fault of the hotel obviously).

Good location on a busy place suitable for business travelllers and short stays when you know you will be mostly outside for travelling around the island. Outstanding oat porridge for breakfast (if you like).

The road in front is very loud,

The beautiful balcony with flowers, although it is very loud there, the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is comfortable, hot shower works very well, it is perfect located, close to the ferry to Nevis, good restaurants are close

The bed was a tad bit hard and the location was a bit removed on a Sunday. Most things around were closed. Just something to note if staying there on a Sunday.

I had to checkout early 6am. Organised taxi from reception never came and nobody around to hand key in. Had to walk to find a taxi.

What's not to like for the price.

The relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All amenities were available within the hotel and anything else was a stones throw away. The team were polite and helpful in every aspect, nothing was too much trouble and a perfect spot for a couple of days.

Limited food options, local food would be good. Noisy shop opposite. Some staff didn’t seem to know what to do etc

Don't be fooled by the name Seaview. With a new building across the street there is no seaview to be had, and certainly not from the inside room; Streetview is a better name for the front, with a lovely communal balcony for all to be enjoyed. The room is small and gloomy, very basic - but for that the price is about right.

Right in the middle of Basseterre, next to the ferry, the market, the cruise terminal and shops: for a taste of the capital the location can't be better.
