Personally, checking in was really easy although I missed the chance to chat with someone at the reception on arrival. but that's no reason to down grade my stay. It was perfect.

Blueboat was the perfect guesthouse place to stay and spend time in Gyeongju.. close to local cultural areas and a local bus away to the express bus station and museums.. although I walked everywhere with no problem..nothing is that far, including the main town. Breakfast was great and everywhere was very organized and clean.

The common area and the kitchen are beautiful! The space is small but incredibly well curated, bathrooms are spacious and the location is perfect. Everything is sparkling clean and the breakfast they offer is delicious.

Only one toilet per sex, so sometimes you had to wait for tour turn. Also not really any space to hang your clothes and towel in or out of the shower.

A good location, comfortable beds and a nice common area. Everything was clean. There's leg massagers available, which are nice to use after a long day.

The beds were great, they even had heating mattresses. Everything was clean and the breakfast was nice. Exactly like in the pictures. The staff were also helpful and the location could not have been better. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a private room with 3 people. We had an amazing stay. The staff was very friendly, and the property had everything you needed. If you come by KTX, the bus stops at a 2 min walk from the hostel. It’s a 5-10 min walk from the Daereungwon-tombs, from where you can start your walking tour, seeing all the highlights of Gyeonju. There’s also a 7/11 right across the street. Even if the host was not at the reception area, you could reach him by WhatsApp, opened on a computer on the counter. The included breakfast was wonderful as well. After check-out, you can store your bags (for free!) in the bakery on the groundfloor.

Brilliant location, everything is within walking distance, and the bus to both the train and bus station is just a short walk from the hostel, which was fantastic!! Had attractions and food reccomendations readily available. Beds were comfortable with loads of storage and easy to reach sockets

During the cleaning time during the day, you can't use anything, so it might be a little inconvenient when you want to rest during the day

The rooms are clean, the staff is very nice, the breakfast is very good. At the bathroom you will find everything you need. Also the kitchen is well equipped. The place is near the main attraction.

Great stay. Clean room, bed with curtain, hanger, table and electrical outlet near the bed. The kitchen is excellent with everything needed for cooking and the breakfast is also excellent. Highly recommended!

You have to pass the lobby to get to the restroom and shower but other than that, it was great value for money. Highly recommend for solo travelers visiting Gyeongju.

It’s close to bus stops and the city center. The historical sites are just a few bus stops away. Also, slept like a baby here and the staff was really helpful and welcoming. :)
