Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

South KoreaEven though the hotel's description says that kids are not allowed, there were a couple of infants on our floor playing and screaming, crying. Cause the front desk is located on the 7th floor, I guess it's difficult to control the kid's situation on other floors. Plus, the soundproofing is so bad that you can hear every step made in the hall. Also, as soon as I started showering, bathroom slipers started spreading dirt all around. I guess someone before me took an outside walk using them. Sheets feel fresh, but those old sus stains are questionable.
The location is good, and even though I made a reservation the same day as I checked in, there were options. The view on the 10th floor was nice and the windows were big and openable. Staff was kind.

PhilippinesThe bathroom has no lock, has gaps and no foot rug.
The location was perfect for on the go travellers since the subway and the bus station are near. The hotel has a water refill station, shared kitchen and weighting scale that is free of use.

United Arab EmiratesBathroom was clean but the room itself was obviously worn out. Although I'm sure they tried to keep it as clean as they could, there are still some spots they missed like the dusty air-conditioning, vents, window and counter top. Also, there is the smell of sewer from the bathroom and cigarette smoke that would come and go. Walls are thin so if you have noisy neighbors, that might bother you. It's also next to a hospital so ambulance with sirens often pass by. There is no daily housekeeping but that's understandable for a budget hotel.
Accessible, easy to find, close to the metro. Convenience stores, restaurants and places to explore nearby. Heated floors during winter. Common area available (microwave, fridge, water dispenser, laundry). Accommodating staffs. Price is a bit high-average but you get a room to yourself with private bathroom, convenient if you don't like sharing hostels. Room size is okay for one person with one luggage. Safety measures like fire extinguishers are placed in the room.

PhilippinesThis is the 2nd time I stayed in this hotel because the location is perfect! It's a few steps away from the Dongdaemun History and Culture Park station, it's a 5-minute walk to the nearest mall and just right outside the hotel is a pharmacy, a lot of street food carts, fast foods, and convenience store. It's also just across the Airport Bus station so it's super convenient to just get to and from Incheon Airport. The staff are amazing and accommodating too!

VietnamThis is the worse hotel I've ever stayed. The room was dirty when I arrived, especially the bed. There were hair and dust on the bed, which was awful, and there was strange smell in the room as well. The WC was horrible, the toilet was clogged and I had to call the staff to fix it. The worse part is the extreme thin wall, the guy next to my room snored all night and I could hear him loud and clear ( it was like the guy was lying next to me, which was scary as hell). I stayed for three days and I could not sleep well at all. Overall, will never ever book this hotel again.
The location was very near subway station so it was convenient to travel around

MalaysiaNeed to put details on how customer can enter the hotel entrance. I'm a bit confuse on the entrance since hotel is sharing with other company (bank, etc). hope staff can explain that there is curfew time for entrance being locked and need to enter from back door.
The facility and location is strategic. Staff is friendly and very helping. They even understand the constraint that I face to make me checkout late. The view from my room is quiet nice too <3
