Lorraine is a super host, the place is clean and comfortable and at an affordable rate. What you get represents great value for money. Would definitely come back when I visit St Lucia again!

Lorraine is a super host and nothing is too much trouble for her. The location is lovely with a nice sunny terrace plenty of cooking and eating facilities and easy walking or taxi distance to stunning beach and local restaurants. Highly recommended.

By far the best element of this apartment is the host, Lorraine. Not to say the flat isn't as advertised or pleasant, but Lorraine's helpfulness, kindness and general hosting went above and beyond. Would highly recommend for a short stay in another lovely part of the island.

Lorraine, Our hostess, was a wealth of information prior to our arrival. She immediately made us feel at home. She arranged transportation to and from the airport, as well as our tour of the area. The lighthouse is real close. The view from up there is amazing, take a taxi or a walk to the top… You will be happy you did..

The property is high on a hill overlooking View Fort harbour, the bedroom itself is spacious and airy and you have the use of the lounge, kitchen and shower room as Lorraine lives on the floor below. The comfy bed has a mosquito net too (although they weren’t much of a problem.) Breakfast on the terrace was lovely - fruit, bread and cheese with nice coffee. Lorraine is a perfect hostess and was so helpful, particularly giving me a lift down to a restaurant on the first day and finding the World Cup on TV the next day!

Needs some minor technical upgrades.

Out of the way location, hard to reach by road, but spectacular views walking up to lighthouse. Great for a forced overnight near the airport. Lorraine was helpful with taxi and directions. Good wifi.

The shower wasn't that easy to figure out and I could have asked the owner to show me again how but- my own fault- I didn't want to disturb her. I liked the simplicity of the room and communal areas; it reminded me of guest houses I stayed in during the 70's and 80's before everybody went too chi-chi. I appreciate that costs and prices everywhere have skyrocketed and out of all the guest houses on offer through booking.com a Private Room In Paradise came across as better value. However, overall, I would say that the prices on booking.com advertised seem high and I wonder if this isn't because of the platform these owners are forced to use. I also do not like having to always go through an online service just to get basic information about a place that I will be staying in. What's wrong with a direct phone call?

The owner had arranged for me to be collected from the airport for a very reasonable price by a very well informed, friendly and courteous driver. Given the late hour of my arrival, I very much appreciated this facility.
