We had one of the smaller rooms but booked last minute and were only staying a few nights.

Really cheerful quirky property in a wonderful little town. Great to have use of the communal kitchen and the view from the sun deck was absolutely gorgeous. On top of all this the best part of our stay was meeting Frances, the incredibly kind and helpful host. We had some fascinating chats learning a bit more about the island and how it's changed over the years. We'd absolutely love to come back.

The beds only have sheets, no blankets.

Great location on the ocean, short walk to the beach and a few restaurants, close to police station. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, helped facilitate taxi services.

The hosts are extremely friendly!! I was traveling alone and I missed my flight after checking out and they were super kind to get me a room ready in the middle of the night! They even arranged a taxi service and ensured I boarded my flight safely. Would highly recommend this place!!

The bathroom was a bit small with poor lighting.

The veranda and sea view were outstanding. It was a peaceful place, not the typical tourist area. It's a small guest house with a shared kitchen and lounging area, so friends were made, and experiences were shared. Frances takes care that your needs are quickly seen to; she is very pleasant. The village was very interesting to explore. Such a friendly, safe place to walk, meeting many residents!

There was no host onsite when we arrived and check in was done via security surveillance camera. The towels all had small stains and extra roll of toilet paper was not supplied. The bedroom was pretty compact with not a lot of roaming space. Payment had to be made via PayPal before arrival which also isn’t customary in my experience with bookings. There was a very loud rooster that started up before 4am awakening us. No toiletries supplied beyond bar soap.

We did not see any other guests so felt like we had the entire top floor to ourselves. There is communal kitchen so we were able to make breakfast in the morning. The veranda has beautiful views of the sea. Close proximity to the airport.

Not much room in the room with a family of 4. Not much space to open our cases. Would of been good if a hair dryer was available to use.

Small odor from bathroom, not a big issue. A/c needed cleaning which was promptly attended to.

Amazing host Frances. Takes care of the place almost single handed, very responsive, represents local community well. Generous hospitality. Opened up her house to us to watch the cricket world cup semi final. Made local mangoes available to us when she heard that we liked them! Felt like we were living with the locals in Laborie. Wonderful little village with great beach, and warm people. Thanks to mama Tilly who made custom vegetarian food for us. View is among the best on the island. Staying down south was a good idea, but needs car.

There is a kitchen where you can cook and make coffee/tea. WITH GREAT VIEWS! I loved how low-key and relaxing this Hotel is. Makes you feel a part of the island.

It was very pleasure stay at Sunset Lane. I would say, it was the best choice in that village and laguna. Francis is very nice host. Please is clean. Kitchen with fridge was provided. We purchased food in local mini stores and prepared all ourself. For better selection we took a taxi to go to supermarket. Other guests went to local bars for dinner. Beautiful ocean view, and best sunset view from the big patio. We could swim right from beside the place. I would not recommend to go to the beach for swimming, as there are lots of fish cleaning stations, water did not look clean and bad smell all over, but from our place we could swim pretty far enjoying warm water.
