It was a bit smelling in the bathroom. We needed to ask for bedsheets and towels

It's a simple but good place in the middle of Galle Fort. We had a two bed room. The beds are huge and comfortable and the aircon worked well. Home stay, the breakfast is served in the kitchen. The people are very nice

I could hear everything from the next door room as there seemed to be a gap between rooms at the ceiling. Shower was Luke warm. Windows didn't close. Place could do with an update.

I liked the amenities in the room...hot and cold water, also located inside the fort and close to all major attractions, excellent service provided by the staff which is a family business. We had a great Western breakfast as well and the room was very clean and comfortable.

In the check out day staff came to room and told us to check out even before the check out time because there is a another customer booked it and they came early

The air conditioner makes a lot of noise, even when wearing ear plugs. So I had to switch it off during the night, which was quite warm.

The location is great, in the middle of the fort, so you can walk everything. The room is comfortable. The owners are very friendly (you live in a part of their house, which is an additional experience). The breakfast was amazing (many dishes). The price is also good for his type of room/location.

I travelled with my mom and son. The location was perfect, as we were able to reach the main attraction sights with a few min walk. The hotel is cosy and clean. The staff are very friendly and made us feel at home. The breakfast was varied and enjoyable.

Located close to the center of galle fort and easy to explore galle fort . the room was also comfy and it is of course safe as most of the other places in gallefort. I would highly recommend albert guest house for your stay

If I really had to nit-pick, I'd say the bathroom was a bit cramped for space and the shower could have been better, but that would matter more for a longer stay

We stayed one night and the property was just perfect for us, given our tight schedule. The location is excellent and the rooms are quite comfortable and very clean. You are a short walk away from the lighthouse, market/shops, and cafes, tucked away in a quiet street. The family is incredibly sweet, kind and helpful - even offering to make us a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast before our early morning departure.

The sheets and linens were cleaned but tattered, with holes and stains. They replaced them on request. Some upkeep paint in the washroom is needed.

EXCEPTIONAL Value for the location. 1 min walk from the sunset point. Friendly host and good breakfast. The son speaks good English. They kindly accommodate our request to park our rented Tuktuk for one night. AC in the room worked well.

The AC wasn't fully effective and could be better because it was extremely hot in Galle. The bathroom was sanitary but it could use some deep cleaning for sure.

The accommodation was like a guest house. The folks who own the building live on the ground floor and they are a lovely family. They were super nice to us and asked us what we wanted for breakfast every morning. They prepared home-cooked meals for us that were very tasty. The room was also clean, and the BNB is inside Galle Fort so everything was at a walkable distance.
