the tree house is a unique experience, if you love nature is a must to try! We have been there with our 2 kids (5 and 8 years) and they loved it! Lizards, birds, monkeys, butterflies, you have everything around you, the connection with nature is great there. Staff is super friendly and available, food is also very good! You are walking distance form Pidurangala, and 10 minutes by car from Sigiriya

It was really nice to sleep and hear the sounds of the nature. In the morning the sunlight was lightening the treehouse which was really nice to wake up. The staff was really friendly and helped us with everything. Would definitly book it again.

The only downside is that Booking takes a large chunk of the portion of the money. On top of that, you have to pay the place in cash (which I didn't think was the case as I needed to put in credit card information). Remember to take a lot of cash with you!

The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and it was very close to Pidarangula and Sigiriya Rock. I also loved the concept of the tree house

Much more expensive than average stay here. Tree houses are a special experience but there are no walls or doors - something female travellers should bear in mind. One manager was a bit pushy about night safari and could be occasionally curt.

Stunning place, 5 minutes walk from entrance to Pidurangala temple. Food was excellent and rooms are beautifully designed. Majority of staff extremely friendly and helpful.

The wifi is not the best for obvious reason, but that was a good part - but maybe is also a bad thing for some guests.

Rooms must be paid for in cash. This wasn't made very clear so we had some trouble finding an ATM. Would be helpful if they could take credit cards or at least be clearer about the need to bring cash.

The most incredible location in the forest. Pls visit this lodge and explore. Wonderful to walk from the lodge to Sigiriya and Pidarangala rocks. We also did a night time walk in the jungle looking for Loris and other animals. We saw 3 Loris! Our children were totally enchanted. Treehouse rooms are so much fun, very well built, a unique experience to sleep outside (with good quality nets). The dinner was absolutely delicious - really authentic, home-cooked style Sri Lankan food. Just perfect.

The setting was absolutely beautiful nestled in the jungle with a beautiful little sign showing the way. This is a hidden gem, the only noise was the abundance of wildlife, butterflies, birds, monkeys-at night it was a beautiful sound with fireflies lighting up the tree house around you. The wooden structure itself was truly part of the natural setting a real tree house-you felt at one with nature but with all the facilities from the inside outside shower designed in a modern yet rustic way- we were with our two older teenagers who were blown away by its setting. It had exceptional bedding and is a really big size space- ours had two double beds on opposite sides a seating area and a single bed with a net balcony to lay on and gaze up at the canopy teaming with wildlife-gorgeous. This really is an experience in nature- the real deal. The food is fantastic and the setting for eating and hanging out is rustic and charming. The lovely staff and managers go out of their way to explain and show you the wildlife, they arranged a safari to Kaudulla which they recommended and is was fantastic the lovely local guide was brilliant, we saw so much wildlife including elephants ...we were on our own for most of the trip- such a memorable experience. The location couldn't be better as you can walk up to Pidurangala which has incredible views and is a ten minute walk away. Sigirya is just a small quiet tut tut ride away . Back of beyond is at it says! and exceeded all our expectations- Thank you so much. Katharine, Paul and two older teenagers.

It can get hot at night, but that is expected. It's all open though so no doors or locks. I felt safe, but it was strange as I was a single female staying in my own tree house.

Staff were fantastic and very accommodating for us, nothing was too much trouble. Treehouse was so unique and was a highlight of our trip. Well equipped and it was so nice to be so close to nature.

Website says they take vida, but they only take cash. Cicadas were a bit much this time of year, but nothing to fault the facility for.

Loved our stay here! The jungle is beautiful and the huts very comforable. The food was excellent! We loved the loris night walk! The price here was a quite a bit higher than anything else we payed for on our trip, but it was well worth it! And hopefully places like this help preserve the priceless Sri Lanka's nature. The whole region here is of outstanding beauty that should never be lost!

If it rains, everything feels damp and the outdoor bathroom gets soaked. But just a comment to set expectations, not a complaint.

Such a cool and unique place. The sounds of the jungle are so cool and getting to sleep in a very comfortable way outside was nice. The bed nets did a good job at keeping the bugs away. The location is close to Pirdurangala Rock so good for an afternoon activity. The outdoor shower is cool.
