The location is amazing and the pool and the bar is perfect, so you don't have to go outside for a beer in the evening. I loved the little curtains on the bunk beds which gives privacy.

It is a restaurant and a hostel inside so it is very noisy,They will give you a device that you put credit in to use at the restaurant. I didn't like this. The place is polluted with rules and warnings hanging in every direction you look, this adds to the place an uncomfortable atmosphere and you will never feel at home, I feel like the place is run more with strictness than love.

The bed is comfortable and clean, there are curtains and there is a pool outside.

The first night I had a top bunk right underneath the AC and it was veryyyyyy cold. But the staff wasn’t super kind and I could switch my bunk the next day

Flight into Colombo landed in the wee hours of the morning, so only stayed for a quick stop through before moving on. Enjoyed the live music/open mic night.

It was nice. The restaurant was nice, the breakfast was really good. I can't really comment on the location as only there for one night and got a tuk tuk in the morning. Staff were friendly. Room was fine. Bathroom was clean.

There are only 3 toilets for the entire hostel and the bathroom can be locked completely, so a guest can lock the entire room even though there are two separate cabins. The included breakfast is very small, the coffee didn't taste good and one morning there was only a sweet option because the toast was empty. The wifi was also very slow. One of our lockers was broken.

The entire hostel and our room was really clean, they were cleaning multiple times every day. There are good seating areas on the groundfloor inside and on a terrace. The atmosphere was generally really calm and quiet. Late check-in was also possible for us.

We didn’t realise how far from the airport the hostel was - but that was completely our fault. There are very frequent buses into the city centre just down the road which is fantastic

We had a private room with shared bathroom, the beds were comfortable and the air con was great. They have a laundry service which was same day and good value for money. The included breakfast was lovely each morning! Lovely friendly staff

The (sorry to say but, horrible) music continued playing super loud until like 23, although there were only 5 people sitting outside and just relaxing. So it felt like a party hostel coming in but I don't think it is really a party hostel.

the kitchen is no kitchen.. you have a stove and a pan, but no cutlery and only one bowl and one plate.. pretty dirty and small too. but it’s the only negative thing. but do not expect a kitchen to cook 😂

The music was loud until midnight, and if you want to wake up early, it can be upsetting for some. The breakfast could be more varied, even if it's delicious at some point you may want something else if you want to stay for a week, for example.

We stayed for 3 nights at Seconds' hostel, and it was awesome! The staff is incredibly helpful and nice, the breakfast is delicious, the room and bathroom are very clean and the entire atmosphere has a good vibe. On our third day, we left very early in the morning, and we received our breakfast packed in the fridge, ready to go. Also, you can have lunch, dinner as the hostel has a varied menu. There are also special events in some evenings and you can enjoy a beer with the other guests. Highly recommend this hostel if you want to spend really nice days in Colombo!

To far from the airport and to far from the Colombo bus stand had to change 2 busses from airport and 1 tuktuk ride to reach here

It's beautifull hostel with pool and good service like food and drinks, but it's to far from the airport, even to far from the Colombo bus stand.... But the staff are nice and very helpfull

The mothballs smell in the bathroom truly appaling. Everything smells of it. The no shoes policy when staff are clearly wearing their shoes inside, as they should, however totally unhygenic in a shared bathroom and hallway. We came on a weekend and the open mic event made it impossible to stay in the room as they were playing in the lobby perhaps because it was raining. Maybe from the yard it wouldn’t be so loud inside. Best to book if this is your thing for a saturday night.

Staff was really nice and accomodated us having breakfast outside their hours. You can clearly see there’s a lot of effort put into the property through attention to details Outside area looks very pretty with loads of plants, beautiful sitting area and a tiny pool. Love that they use solar panels and are environmentally conscious
