My room was dump. I know they have new rooms as well but without mountain view. Bit distant from Ella but you can take short cut and in 20minutes you are there. Or they can arrange tuk tuk..

The family and the view. Unfortunately it was raining so it was foggy. However, it was nice to have balcony with chairs where to sit while raining Breakfast was good and it's served outside their house in a little hut. There was hairdryer in the room

Wonderful stay, beautiful view in front of the room. Sad to see that they are building a big hotel just at the left side in front.. but there is still a large view to enjoy in front. The family was so so nice, great welcome and breakfast! Perfect walking distance from town centre - 10 to 15 min with the shortcuts. Can highly recommend the cooking class as Clay pot, very close to them in the street.

The hotel was clean, comfy and had a locely breakfast on our porch each day, and we were even kindly provided with a breakfast for our sunrise hike up Ella Rock. It's a walk up steep hills to get there, but in the end we enjoyed staying outside of Ella, and it means that we could see lots of birds and wildlife around the hotel!

A very welcoming place to stay. A 20min walk out of the centre of Ella, up in the lovely hills with nice views. We had dinner there both nights - excellent! and our laundry was done in a couple of hours (tumble dryer 👌).

Spacious room. Host was super friendly and provided a lovely breakfast. Access to Ella is quite easy going down but will require a tuk tuk coming back up.

Super helpful host and family. Both English breakfast and a few Sri Lankan dishes+fruits were provided for breakfast. The climb up the homestay was a bit difficult but the host helped us to the road on a tuk tuk and also helped carry the luggage.

quit far from the city center. but ok if you take the short cut. call the owner if you arriving from the train station or bus he will send you a tuk tuk as they are asking exaggerate price for the short drive

Beautiful and peaceful place with an incredible view. the breakfast was very good and the owners very nice and helpful. the rooms are very spacious and clean and a beautiful terrace to enjoy the view while having breakfast. thanks a lot for making our stay very pleasant.

Very good experience! The view is amazing, especially for watching the sunrise, and the rooms are perfect for a couple of days in Ella. The location is convenient—close to the center and within easy reach of the Nine Arch Bridge. The host family is also very kind and welcoming, making the stay feel even more special.

The place is not in the city center, but it is uphill. It is hard to catch tuktuk that will take you to the city. But other than this, everything was fine.

Everything was good, and clean. There is a terrace in front of the room. I couldn't have stayed for breakfast, so the owner prepared sandwich to go for me! Thank you very much for that!

It wasn't clean at all. we didn't get any toiletries in the room, the room needs some serious dust cleaning. No AC. The bed sheets were ripped.

The bed was comfortable and it had a mosquito net which was great. The breakfast was really good! The only thing we didn’t like are so many stairs, but the view was good. Our hosts didn’t speak that much of English, but he was super kind.

A little out of the way and requiring a steep climb up some high steps from where your car will drop you off. However the owner carries even heavy suitcases up for you. There is an option to use a tuktuk up a narrow path to the hotel. The room was clean, spacious and had mosquito net over the bed. Breakfast and dinner are served on your private balcony which has lovely views across the valley. Bottles of water are provided on arrival. The hotel did not provide accommodation for our driver

The fact that we have to take a long ride tuk tuk in the middle of the road while in fact we could ride the car just to the bottom of the location then walk up a little bit was something that I don't quite understand the owner logic. And there was no hot water enough for 2 persons. The wifi is only ok in the morning.

The view from the terrace, the breakfast , the willingness to serve well by the lady owner though her broken English sometimes was hard to understand and many times she misunderstood us.
