Wow. The name says it all. The view!!! Very clean, modern, and friendly staff. You are a 10 min drive from Ella itself but if you want tranquility this is your place. I wish we could have stayed here longer. The only criticism I would say is the pool itself was a bit tired and if you have a disability there are quite a few stairs.

Beautiful hotel. It felt like a real treat to stay here without it being pretentious. The staff were amazing! They were attentive without being over the top and full of useful advice. The food was lovely, really fresh and lots of choice. Good cocktails, too. Wish I could have stayed longer.

No mirror in the bedroom - only mirror was in the bathroom.

Gorgeous views from the hotel bar and pool. The rooms were big and comfortable. No A/C but there was a fan in the room. Breakfast was really yummy, offering some Sri Lanka breakfast foods too. Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The perfect stay. The views are incredible, the staff were so personable and kind, the room was clean and comfortable with a stunning balcony. The breakfast spread was delicious and lots of choice. We are SO glad we stayed here and not in Ella town, it’s an easy short tuktuk to all the attractions. One of our favourite stays we have ever had.

Wonderful location and great views. The restaurant is good, too. We had a private cabin which was absolutely lovely. Great flowers everywhere and plenty of opportunities to go hiking right from the property. Minor point of improvement: The pool towels and the bed linen could have been cleaner.

This was an amazing hotel ! We spent 3 nights here . We wanted something quiet , away from the bustle of Ella.. and this place was perfect . The room was spacious & had a comfortable bed . We ate most of our meals in the restaurant ( which is a beautiful Balinese style open sided building with amazing views ) . The staff were so polite & friendly . They also had a lovely infinity pool . We had a driver who could take us where we wanted to go .. but you can use a tuk tuk . Highly recommended !

Fabulous hotel thankfully a few km out of Ella town (which is horrible), amazing views, wonderful breakfast, total peace and really wonderful staff in the restaurant. I was here for 2 nights and didn’t want to leave. Slept so peacefully and waking up to that view and the birds was such a joy.

We loved everything about our stay at Chill Ville. The unbelievable views from the pool and restaurant area, the Tuktuk service and our driver was a lovely guy and always there when you called. The room was large with a terrace looking out across the mountains, boiling hot shower which is rare. Beautiful gardens full of flowers, birds, squirrels and lizards. The staff were all great, from check in to the breakfast crew, especially Harsha who we had some good laughs with.

Wonderful location. Nice rooms with plenty of space for a family. The views from the pool and restaurant are fantastic. Location is a little bit of a drive from Ella (15 minutes in tuk tuk) but it rewards you with the most tranquil and nice place. Best breakfast I saw and enjoyed in our more than two weeks in Sri Lanka.

Simply stunning. The staff, view, pool, rooms, food! Absolutely perfect stay. Wonderful to be out of hustle and bustle of Ella, yet a short tuk tuk away. The hotel is in a stunning location, fabulous views and rooms were incredible.. But it was the staff that made our 3 night stay even more outstanding, they were brilliant with our 11 year old son. Food choices were vast and all delicious. Special mention to Kaveesha whose service and gentle smile was the best we were lucky enough to receive in our 3 week visit to Sri Lanka. Thank you, would love to return one day .

Really amazing place just a 10-15 min tuktuk ride out of Ella in absolute tranquility. Very beautiful property which is more a botanical garden, beautiful rooms. Food was great - breakfast was the best we had during our Sri Lanka trip. Great staff which understands to accommodate all your needs and is also great with kids.

The top room was at the top of the hill so the wind kept us up a little at night but it's a small price to pay for the views. It is also slightly confusing who to pay for the hotel tuktuks - perhaps just needs to be explained beforehand as we weren't sure if this was to be paid at the end or after each journey. But it was a great service so hard to complain!
