Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. AustraliaShower is a ridiculous design !!! You virtually have to get in the shower to turn it on as the controls are behind the door !! Check in was slow. Check out was slow. Everything at reception was slow. We had more trouble with this than anything else. So many times we were asked to pay a bill after we were locked out of the room. It is inefficient to say the least. Also, paying in $USD is ridiculous. The hotel has more Australians than U.S. visitors so why $USD. Why can't we pay in $AUD or Sri Lankan Rupees?
Pool was nice. Breakfast was really good. Room was very good with great wifi, TV and Aircon. Comfy beds.

United KingdomStaff poorly trained. Check in nearly 45 mts despite confirmed booking via Booking.com. Same questions being repeated by the receptionist. Refused to deliver my laundry to the room until paid for it at the reception a policy that was not explained at check in or collection! I have stayed at this hotel previously and service has not been this poor! Now there are several international chains in Colombo with similar prize range so needs to improve service.

United KingdomBooked room advertised for 3 adults, 2 beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was literally a chair. Truly terrible. Arguably fit for a small child but an adult would be better off sleeping on the floor. Food/service was typically slow, I.e. order a few ice creams they'll take 30 minutes to arrive and be mostly melted.

Sri LankaWe were greeted with a very long checkin . After sitting there for more than 30 minutes I had to go check why it was taking so long . We requested non smoking rooms but the whole corridor smelt like smoke. The carpets were unclean and the bedrooms looked very tacky. We went up to the bar , ordered Fries and drinks , chips never came. Not worth the price We paid for , would definitely not go there again

Have to pay extra if any consumables such as dental kit is requested. 5. Annoying in wanting us to checkout early by calling is repeatedly and disabling our room key at 12 pm sharp! 6. Rooms did not have a Sofa Bed / Futon bed as specified in booking.
1. Hotel has a fantastic view and clean. 2. View is good and this saves you the need to pay for City view @ the Lotus Tower. 3. Convenience Shop and a good seafood restaurant 200 metres walking distance from hotel.
