Amazing place! The best place to relax and enjoy the nature in a little paradise. The whole area is so nice and pretty - the pool is great, the rooms are modern with anti-mosquito nets over the bed. They have their own little beach but Polhena beach was very close. They also offered complimentary bikes to go to the restaurants, beach or town. Breakfast was great! There were also super cute little puppies who turned out to be great companions during our visit.

Private beach is not really a beach but you can access the sea via rocks. Very nice place but for the price we had better accommodations in Sri Lanka

This hotel has a great atmosphere! It is very, very clean, and the design is nice. The rooms are super clean and well-kept. There are cute dogs, and the owners are very friendly. The ocean is right next to the hotel, with palm trees all around. You can rent a scooter to explore. The price is very low for such a great place!

It was a little remote from good places to eat out but the facilities are there to cook for yourself.

We loved the property, the staff and the setting. It was very chilled. Breakfast was lovely.

Tuk tuks did struggle to find location which was strange as been there for a long time!

Amazing setting at the Deep Blue, with both the pool and beach to access. Very chilled vibe - although most rooms were full never felt too busy at the pool or sunbeds. Enjoyed playing with the puppies. Good to have the bicycles to use for getting to places to eat at night.

Beautiful, quiet, spacious, nice pool, next nice beach (Polhena) 5-10min walk or 3min tuktuk. Stayed for one week with our 3yr old kid and it was just perfect. A lot of space to play and chill, but as cozy as a family run homestay. Ruzaik actually is the perfect host.

Deep Blue is absolute paradise! We had a spacious room with view of the sea, beautiful garden and pool. The manager Ruzaik made us feel very welcome. Bikes were provided for free, so it was a quick and easy 5 minute cycle to Polhenna beach and the nearest restaurants. It's located very close to a great snorkelling area too - we saw 7 turtles in an hour! The area is less busy and touristy than other towns nearby, which we enjoyed. We were only here for 2 nights and wish we could stay longer. Hope to return one day!

If I had to name one thing, it would be that I would have liked the room to have been cleaned once during our 5-day stay.

Deep Blue is a true home away from home. We loved everything about our stay. We had the deluxe bungalow upstairs. The bungalow is spacious with a newly installed AC. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a light meal. The bathroom is also spacious with hot water! Bed has a mosquito net. Rusaik was always available and helped us organise tuk-tuks and tours. We also had wonderful conversations with him. Also the whole team looked after us so wonderfully, they even brought us coffee and tea regularly. The whole team values their guests which is a wonderful characteristic. You will have the opportunity to take bikes to stroll around the area. We even went to Matara with them. Polhena beach and a lot of restaurants are a 10 minute walk away. We definitly would stay there again!

We choosed this place after two very long flights as we arrived from the other site of the world, Costa Rica. Our choice was based to be able to relax and...this was the best decision ever. The place is super quite, super nice staff, Restaurants are a 5-10 minutes walk and the more turistique place Mirissa is just a 10 minutes drive. This combination was for us just the perfect place to be.

Not all the windows were able to be closed completely so it was a little tricky to keep the room cool and the mosquitoes out. The check in process was a bit unclear but that might be because we arrived early. The closest beach isn't amazing, so if you're looking for a more popular beach I would recommend driving into mirissa. This might be hard if you don't have transport, but overall the location is a good base for around the south coast.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well kept and the pool was super clean. Beautifully decorated exterior. The room was clean and comfortable. Very nice bathroom. The manager was super lovely and generous. We had fresh caught tuna one night for dinner here - it was great!

Seaside resort with a nice swimming pool. Nice beach house feel to the room which had a large balcony and outdoor bed and relax chairs as well as a table where you can sit and play games or read or eat. Inside there’s a small kitchen a good fridge good shower everything is very spacious. The bed has a mosquito net. The pool area is very nice with deck chairs. The pool is suitable for children as it has various levels. For a few dollars they arrange breakfast for you, which is toast and fruit, eggs, jam, coffee and tea. The manager arranged a scooter for us to use at a very decent price so we could go to town or the neighboring town Mirissa to explore and for food. There are a few people staying on the property who look after you in every way you need. For example, in the evening they bring some mosquito repellent you can have breakfast at any time you want, etc.. On low tide, you can swim from a beach, but the water is very shallow and because of that you don’t see anything so no snorkeling. Still great to be able to go into the sea from the hotel on this private beach. All in all fantastic I would recommend anyone for a few days relaxation .

It is a little far away from the main beaches. It is walking distance from a little beach called Polhena Beach where you can snorkel and see turtles, but you need to hire a scooter or get a tuk tuk to other beaches.

Absolute paradise! The most beautiful, tranquil and peaceful setting. Such a wonderful place to start our trip to Sri Lanka. Wish we could have stayed for longer!
