the view to Ella’s Rock and surroundings is amazing. Plus the birds and wildlife are great entertainment. The hosts especially Ghajit is very welcoming, kind, friendly, funny and generous with his time.

everything was really clean, breakfast was nice, guesthouse is only a few minute walk to the center, nice balcony with a beautiful view the owner and his family were really welcoming and we immediately felt at home!

The way to the guest house is surprisingly steep and you have to take car on the stairs up to the room, but it does worth it!

The view is amazing, waking up in that room looking at Ella Rock is the best was to start your day. the breakfast is delicious and more than enough, you can choose when you would like to have it depending on your plans for the day. The owner can sort you out with tours and a transfer as he has both a tuktuk and a car.

The sound insulation is almost non existent. If it’s raining outside it gets very noisy and also there are dogs nearby barking at night and you hear them very well. So if you’re a light sleeper take this into account.

Great value for money! Welcoming and attentive staff. Amazing views. Be sure to book the top floor number as it has the best view. Breakfast is also good.

not a huge problem for us- our kids are big, but the stairs to the upper rooms are quite steep and the balcony rail is low. might not be great for kids under 6.

the property is close to everything in Ella without being in the middle of it. it is just a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. the view of Ella rock from the balcony is amazing! the beds are comfy, the bathrooms have hot water and are spotless.

We had the deluxe room and the view is breathtaking. The family is very kind, they gave us a warm welcome and helped us as much as possible! Breakfast is delicious, rooms super clean, no reason not to go there!

The family who runs this guest house is the sweetest! Had a lovely, but short stay, here. Nice view from the room's balcony and about 5 min walk to the main area of Ella with restaurants / shops.

Beautiful view and very welcoming owners. We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka there and could enjoy it on the balcony. The location is right in the centre of Ella and we could reach many things on foot. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay!

Lovely hosts at Eden View and amazing location near by restaurants and bars. The view from my balcony was just wow and breakfast is so delicious. I will defend go back whoever I visit Sri Lanka again.

It was somewhat damp on ground floor. Noisy neighbours at 2.30am ( not owners fault) very basic facilities.

Cheap clean good location 1 night was enough.

The hill it was on. The zero comfort during the day. The loud noises. The label of function in the room. How there was their personal laundry on our terrace.

We booked room on the last floor and we had a lot inconvenience with roof. There were many holes, so mosquitoes and lizard came inside our room. Also animals walking on the roof all night and it was the reason for noise. The house located on the hill ,take note of this. But if you want to have butifull view it`s logical.

Amazing view from my bed on the mountince and very nice owners. All the time they proposed help. Was done all our requests and thanks for that.

The coffee at the breakfast was really bad, we asked with the second day to make it more strong, it was still bad, so i recommend asking for tea, wich was good..

We had a nice stay in Eden view Ella, the location is 3 mins away from restaurant and shops. The area is still a bit under construction, but inside the nature with an amazing view! The hosts are welcoming and we had great breakfast on our balcony.

The stairs up to our room were a bit steep, but so are all those steps within temples etc, our bags were carried for us so after the first climb we just watched our step..

The view from our room did not disappoint! Watching the changing mist and clouds roll across the peak in front of us was a holiday gem. We had been staying in larger accommodation & really enjoyed the change to contact with a local family. Easy walking distance to the main street. This was a basic stay but charming in its own way. We would stay again, our hosts were friendly and offered info about just about anything including Buddhism when asked.

it is nicer on the pictures than In reality. hot water/ pressure was tricky, but I guess it’s similar everywhere in the region. make sure you book via booking. dogs

Everything except the noise from the prayers at 5am every day. But ofc this is not owner’s fault. Everything clean, amazing breakfast, amazing views, amazing owner’s.
