Nice location if you want to be near the spice garden, but quite far away from the centre. A Tuc-Tuc costs 3 times the usual fee due to the location. But very nice situated right in the middle. 1 night recommended, not more.

It’s surrounded by nature, amidst plantations of all sorts. They take your for walk for approx 1500 LKR or you can explore on your own.

Location was absolute amazing, it’s a little remote from the main area in Ella and a little difficult to find but once you reach it’s totally worth it!! It’s super amazing.

Great open floor rooms with stunning views on the garden and the hills. If you have a chance book the cooking class, it was a wonderful experience to learn about Sri Lankan herbs and spices, and prepare amazing dinner with them. Friendly and nice staff, definitely recommend in Ella.

A lovely little gem nestled in the jungle away from the bustle of Ella town, yet only a short tuk tuk ride away. The room opens up to the tree top surroundings and creates a green haven to while away a lazy afternoon after daytime hikes. Sam and his team were the kindest hosts and always on hand to assist. We had a wonderful 2 night stay and probably wouldn’t have enjoyed Ella as much without it. If you have time, the actual spice garden is really interesting and very much worth a tour in its own right.

The only thing I could mention is the fact that the doors and windows are not isolated, you hear everything. But all in all it was a great experience.

He kindly arranged a tuk tuk to take us to the bridge and to and from Ella. He also suggested other places to visit! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. our three nights in ella were really great. senaka was incredibly supportive. all our questions were answered warmly and always with a genuine smile. he was the most attentive of our seven hosts in sri lanka. we learned a lot about the island and its inhabitants at the cooking course, which we should definitely attend. senaka was open and interested. we had a wonderful evening. many thanks to senaka! you are something special!

We’ve loved that place. Definitely, we recomand it. It’s a A frame, with 2 separate rooms(own bathroom), with separate entrance. It’ s so cozy, with a beautiful view, you can really enjoy the silence of the jungle. We felt sorry that we stayed only for 1 night. The breakfast was also great. Thank you for all!

The accommodation is very nice and the upper room has a beautiful view of the surrounded area. The room itself is very clean and there are all things you need. Unfortunately it has no AC but the climate in Ella is not too hot, so in the evenings it’s getting cooler. Senaka, it is the manager of the accommodation was extremely helpful and always available. He also picked up from Nuna Oya, which was the final train station from your train journey from Ella to Nuna Oya. On top of that we also invited us to a special local restaurant for a small lunch.
