Despite the hill, the location was very central. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was clean. The terrace we had in our room was great. Breakfast was big and tasty. Wifi worked well. The host was very polite, servicial and warm. The only thing we didn’t like was the lack of hand towels.

Breakfast was very generous. Staff very helpful. Lent me an umbrella after I lost mine. Give me good advice about activities. Good value for money. A bit of a steep road to Guest house but that was no issue for me.

Lack of power plugs next to the bed. Lack of light switches by the bed. Low water pressure at the shower, although the staff tried to fix it.

A basic hotel with a few rooms close to the main road of Ella. Main issue is that there is quite a hill u need to walk every time to reach the hotel and it will be a challenge for the not-fit people. But it's very close to all the shops and restaurants. Actually one restaurant is like 3 minutes away There is a great mountain view from the room's balcony and from outside. The rooms are very basic. There is no fridge, ac, tv, shower gel. The bed is quite comfortable. The staff was super friendly and it was nice to inform them about our time of breakfast every day. There was no daily cleaning.

Located on top of a very steep hill, not possible to drive by taxi. Loud during the night due to the bars in the city.

Amazing breakfast, lovely host. Had a few issues as the water ran a slightly brown colour and the hot water didn't work well, however great value for money on the whole and stunning views.

There is a wall-to-wall carpet in the room, which was quite old and dirty. The overall cleanliness could be improved.

The staff is extremely kind, helpful, and very welcoming. The breakfast is delicious.

Great stay

Exceptional service from the staff. Staff name - Channa. Extremely attentive. Flexible with our breakfast and even though we were delayed and pate by an hour for breakfast, still put it on for us. Also, I left my kindle in the room and Channa went out of his way to ask a friend to drop it across the country for me in Mirissa. Would highly recommend for service and the kindness of Channa.

Emerald mirror has a fabulous setting with great views over Ella. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very large with clean and bathroom which looks pretty new. You also get your own balcony. Breakfast was amazing 🤩 with everything you could want 😋

This was truly the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Sri Lanka. The peaceful atmosphere, exceptional cleanliness and stunning natural surroundings made our experience unforgettable.
