It's a little bit more dated and worn than the photos might suggest and the location is a bit out of the centre of the action but there's plentiful transportation options if you don't fancy the walk.

This was a pretty good value for money option in Colombo and the staff were always helpful and attentive. The room was pretty big and had a balcony although the weather didn't really give much opportunity to use it.

Be aware that the bathroom windows don't have glass but are permanently open frames, so anyone sitting outside on the terrace can hear your business! The mattress needed replacing.

Not that many choices for restaurants close by. A little far from centre. But with tuk tuk not much of a problem.

The hostel is located in the Havelok area away from the noisy and busy roads at the end of a dead road and therefore pretty calm. Rooms are clean and nice. There are 2 common areas and a small garden to chill. Its a short walk from the next supermarket, a few good restaraunts and the main road. So u have good access to take a tuk tuk or to take the bus to get around in the city. The owner is very friendlly and helpful. He will give u good advices on how to get around and where to go. Having been in Colombo already a few times he could still give me a few good reccomendations which I highly appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing, all good :-) If I have to put something for the sake of it - I'd say it'd be nice if there were thicker bedsheets (but in my experience everywhere in Sri Lanka uses just a thin top sheet because it's too hot! So fair enough).

Very simple yet chic guest house. The staff there are very friendly, very laid back and casual. This is very hostel/young person's vibe but without all the noise/partying/and crowded rooms! I loved it. I stayed two nights, and the room was private, spacious and clean. No complaints there. The wifi worked great as well - I was able to work from home for my job and take meetings without issue. It's easy to get a tuk tuk from the main road too.

A bit of a walk from food and conveniences, but tuk-tuks in Colombo’s are cheap and plentiful. Smelly plumbing in shared bathroom.

Helpful staff, firm beds, good wifi, shared kitchen available. Nice green property. We arrived early and were allowed to rest on floor cushions in the common area. When we had trouble getting a ride to the train station, the staff helped us get a ride and we just made it!

The location identification for cabs using google maps is confusing at times. But then again it's not the fault of Greenscspe. The access road to the property from Greenlands Avenue is not great, particularly during the rainy season. Siripa lane access is good

It was a spacious, quiet, serene, and friendly place. Staff, particularly the chief of them, Cedric, was super proactive from the very next second upon making the booking online. His communications were reassuring, gave the feeling that it's a caring environment. This was reestablished upon checking in.

Reducing the noise of the water boiler switching on a bit noisily every time someone uses water in the house would make the stay perfect.

Cedric and Nadun were super friendly and helpful. They give good tipps and help out wherever they can. The guesthouse is super relaxed and tucked away at the end of a nice quiet street, the room with the king size bed was spacious, comfy and clean. Good to get anywhere in town from here.

The bathroom had a bunch of mosquitos because there are no mosquitos. But aside from this all was well.

Cedric and all the staff there are super friendly and accommodating. We got a cute little bed and breakfast vibe from this place and I’m happy that we stayed here! It’s definitely not in the centre of town but it’s not hard to get around. Super comfortable beds and a great time overall.

Breakfast is non-existent however. Although quiet as, its location asks for a bus or tuktuk ride to the city center.

A clean, calm and quiet place to stay while you’re in Colombo. The rooms are nicely decorated and have comfy beds. My bathroom wasn’t en-suite and I’m not sure if it was a shared one, simple because it wasn’t busy when I was there. Staff is friendly and helpful when it comes to local tips.

It's a bit of a mission finding the place for a tuk tuk driver from the Fort area.

Very peaceful vibe at this place and Cedric super helpful with directions and getting a taxi for a great price., Some great eating options close by also a supermarket and liquor store.

The air conditioner was a little too noisy, particularly at night, and there were few mold stains in the corner of the room. Maybe the room should have been cleaned more frequently.

The room was quite big and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was big,too and clean. The garden outside was well organised and relaxing. In general the hotel is situated in a silent place. The staff was extremely kind and helpful.

My room was located on the ground floor without any outside window, so it smelt a bit damp. The only window opened on the staircase, which isn't great for privacy - I had to keep the curtains closed the whole time. My bathroom was located outside my bedroom, which I found a bit annoying and not ideal for privacy. I wished I could have had another room on the first floor.

The property is located in a gorgeous quiet little alley, far from the buzzing street. The staff was very nice and helpful. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. There are also 2 very cute cats :)
