Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United KingdomGreat communication, kind staff. I arrived late at night and they let me go straight to bed and even offered water, leaving all the check in stuff for the morning. Really cosy rooms and clean. I swear they clean the bathrooms continuously, always smells nice. Located on a quiet little street.

I had a lovely stay at this place. Everything looks very new. The private room I stayed in was large with high ceilings so it felt like there was a lot of space. The air conditioner and fan worked very well, and the shower water was nice and hot. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I arrived very late from the airport, around midnight, and they were proactive in making sure I had the information and phone numbers I needed to check in late. They have great common areas with beanbags, balconies, and a book exchange desk. The street is very quiet, leafy and seems very safe. The area is a bit far from the centre of the city, but it is easy to get tuktuks with the PickMe app and they are very cheap. It is also close to Wellawatte beach, which I recommend for dining, bars and the sunset is fantastic. I highly recommend this place.

United KingdomMy greeting on arrival was terrible. The guy had no clue and wasn't welcoming at all. And the place absolutely stunk! If I was so tired from my trip and pressed for time I would've moved. The bed is really small and seen better days. Woken at 5am by loud voices. A guest trying to find out how to check in! Then members of staff talking loudly outside my bedroom. The place is very run down and messy.

FinlandNot the easiest hotel to find but still didn't take much time to figure it out. Uber may take you to the backdoor first. Wifi could've been faster.

I want to particularly emphasize the friendliness and professionalism of staff members, and particularly the manager, and their hard work in keeping the place cozy and clean. Cat and dog lovers will also be pleasantly surprised with sweet pets sometimes coming to the property. Overall, clean, friendly, and great value for money. The location is also good, with grocery shops, coffee shops, and restaurants within walking distance.

HungaryI booked their most expensive room. The room did not look like on the pictures. The walls, the bathroom door and the room overall looked dirty and run down. The wifi did not work in my room at all. The walls are so thin that I could hear everyone talking outside, in the kitchen or around the reception area. The room comes with a balcony, but is is actually the common balcony that everyone can use.

Although check-in was at 11 am, I requested an earlier check-in (just a day outing) and was told it would only be available by 11:30 am, which I accepted. However, as we were just five minutes away from the hotel, they suddenly called to inform me that the room had been double-booked for two nights and would no longer be available at 11:15. This left us stranded with no place to stay. This experience was completely unprofessional and avoidable. They had plenty of time to check their booking system and could have informed us well in advance, rather than at the last minute. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone based on this experience.
