The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. The host was friendly and helpful. The place is near the beach and restaurants. The room looked nice and was equipped with a mini bar and A/C. Nice place to relax. I recommend this place to anyone.

The rooms are comfortable and there are seating areas outside of each caban so you can enjoy the garden area which is gorgeous! Peace and quiet and luscious surroundings, who could ask for more? Kevin and his wife are excellent hosts, offering suggestions and full of good advice. He even arranged a cooking class for us. So kind!

Beautiful private villa’s. Amazing garden setting and close to the beach and also the main road for restaurants and bars. The staff were great and went out of their way to help with anything. Also the breakfast was lovely and made fresh each morning.

Simply a 10. Super location, 5 mins walk from the beach and also very nearby all restaurants. The cabanas are very clean and there is plenty of room. Last but not least, the owners are really really nice!

The should consider to put a shower door which, instead, is open and the bathroom get wet everytime.

The hotel is very small, few rooms, in the center of the village. Very clean and the staff is the best staff we met in our tour!

The cabanas are located in the very center of Arugam Bay, making everything accessible by foot. At the same time the place is quite and private, allowing you to quit the beach in the hot hours to chill on the sofa just outside your room. Breakfast is wonderful and flexible in terms of timing, so that you can surf or yoga and then come back.

We had a lovely 3 week stay at Forcus. The facilities are modern and well maintained, with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom with open shower, and a beautiful outdoor area with the garden to enjoy. The staff is amazing! Kevin and the rest of the crew work tireless to make sure we have everything we need. They do roomcleaning whenever we want, and help us with several services like laundry, bike rental, tuktuk, and taxi transport. When theyre not helping us, they attend to the garden to keep it beautiful. We loved the breakfast! They offer a variation of different food. Banana pancakes was our favourite. Locations is great, if you want to be close to everything. Some noise from close bars is expected, but it didnt bother us.

We loved everything about this place! The staff is something else - so kind, helpful and welcoming. They make the best breakfast with everything one could dream of :-) Thanks to you three for making our one week stay so memorable. Besides that the location of the hotel was priceless: close to everything (the beach, restaurants etc.) yet so quiet and private. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Arugam Bay! And we’d love to come back.

We were right in the middle of all the action- so nights were quite noisy.

The staff were friendly and amazing! Just wanted to help us enjoy our stay! Proximity to the beach. Modern and comfortable facilities. Manager was very knowledgeable and helped us organise everything we wanted really well. The breakfasts were amazing! Fresh fruit/ English or Sri Lankan. Accommodated all dietary needs. Small and friendly place- only 4 rooms.

Like everywhere in Sri Lanka, there were mosquitos which come in through the open bathroom window / roof area. The mosquito net over the bed worked well though. Slightly more expensive than other places we stayed during our Sri Lanka trip but seemed like good value in Arugam Bay with AC and location. There was some music from the nearby karaoke bar but this stopped at a reasonable hour.

Location walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Helped us to organize a surfing lesson/guide which was great. Air-conditioning worked well and was definitely needed as it was hot and humid while we were there.

My only issue was that the bathroom window was always open, this is normal in such a hot place. I would suggest simply adding a fine mesh/net to stop insects coming through but still let air flow through.

Great service from the warm staff, thank you Kevin and team! Relaxed, hands-off stay with plenty of advice available when asked. Wonderful location, very central but still quaint with well maintained gardens. Room was large, comfy and well equipped.

Nothing very tragic, but the bathroom had an open window, which we couldn't close. We just kept our showers quick, because of the midges.

We had a very nice spacious room. The staff was very helpful and we could park our car next to the house. We were welcomed with a very good pot of tea, which we had on a couch in front of our room.. Breakfast was included in our stay and very tasty. This location also has a very nice garden.
