United KingdomThe owner Gayan and his sister Kalani were very welcoming when we arrived. They were not fully booked so gave us a choice of rooms. The room was very well equipped and very clean. There was a small area with a sink, cutlery and crockery, a kettle and a fridge. The room was big enough for us to have space for our bags, there was a lockable cupboard and fan with good Aircon as well. There was a seating area outside. The dining area was clean and spacious. We were served the most delicious breakfasts all sri lankan and different each time. These included tea or coffee or juice. Gayan was very helpful on one day when my husband was ill and for that we are very grateful. The hotel is close to Galle City and the local beaches. We found a wonderful bar/restaurant on the sea side called Tunagate where we spent a couple of days chilling We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel. It is inexpensive and well worth it

The quietness from the so hectic life in Sri Lanka was amazing. Large and very clean room, but the owner of the hotel was the best. Very kind, polite and helpful.

This place is surrounded by a beautiful garden. So serene and refreshing good smell of flowers. Near all the attractions of Galle. The rail station and bus stand are within one km. Gayan is such a friendly soft spoken guy! He was kind enough to get me a bus to Bentota from the main road. I strongly recommend this property. You'll definitely love staying here.

Location was easy to find and about a 20 min walk from the bus / train station. Definitely a good choice if you're staying in Galle!

ReunionEven close to the road, Ging Vew Villa is a very quiet and silent place. Gayan and his family are very nice and provide you the best service possible with gentleness. Room is very clean, AC working very well, bathroom, bed sheet and towel very clean ! Garden is peacefully and each room has chair and table outside to enjoy the garden. First day I came late in the night, and they waitted for me very gently, welcoming me with fresh juice.,.... No need to fight with touk touk being alone Gayan offered me few drops to the fort and station, I enjoyed choosing this place, close to the fort to visit it. I ll recommand Ging Vew to my friends visiting Galle.

Let's start with the host Gayan and family. A welcoming cold drink goes a long way and as a posseser of ancient technology locating the Villa was harder than need be. Gayan to the rescue on his scooter a quick reprieve as it was near at hand. I've been treated like a VIP and the food is excellent washed down with ice cold on site beer. Quiet location and the room is spacious, a hot shower if inclined and the luxury of a small desktop fridge supplemented with cooling air conditioning to suit. Above all the hospitality second to none. I'm running out of superlatives.

The hotel is in a quiet area but the facilities near the hotel are poor. The better restaurants are not on the main road and the distance from Galle Fort is quite far to walk. The breakfast was basic (toast, omelette and fruit) and when I said I refer Sri Lankan breakfast this was provided the next days.

IndiaIt was stinking as if it was close for few daysThere was no Fan knob.Tea kettle was provided but no tea,coffee ,sugar,Milk sachet were provided.When we asked for it,they said kettle is for heating water.Only one bottle of drinking water was provided for three people.For that also they asked us to pay which we refused.
