We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Friendliness of staff was exceptional - always with a smile and willing to help. Loved the designing and the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. Rooms were large and comfortable and buffet had variety of food options. Live music in the evening, walking paths, beautiful beach, well maintained pools, nice spa, gaming activities and a library - there was something for everyone ! Hotel was busy proving to be popular with tourists. Highly recommend this hotel!

Disrespectful and unfriendly front office manager and staff. From the time I arrived to the lobby. Wasnt provided a welcome drink and towel while other non solo travelers were attended too. Had to carry my own bags to the room. The front office manager was the worst employee I've ever dealt with and was extremely rude. Tried to over charge me for meals and came up with some nonsense explanation which has nothing to do with the guest blaiming the head office. when i made a noise regarding it so other guests could hear he asked me what i want just to shut me up. Extremely unprofessional and sadly this hotel has lost its way especially with staff. Same menu everyday for breakfast which was boring.

The Spa and how well the treatments were. Extremely professional and friendly. Highly recommended spa👌 hotel room was comfy and the toilet was good especially the shower.

Whilst we tipped the man cleaning the room on arrival, he was trying for a tip every day so he did not get another tip. Very annoying.

Unfortunately on arrival their was a big group who had just arrived after us , with screaming kids running around and disregarding any other guest of the hotel, but this is not the hotels fault.

The hotel lobby is just breath taking, this hotel was chosen as a relaxation stop , which really did that, Our room was facing the sea in the first building what a super view we could hear the waves crashing on the shore, Had a great meal then went to listen to the saxophone player at the Bar he was superb what a talent, Their was also an artist selling his paintings so purchased 2 as it was his last night their .Breakfast was plentiful something for everyone , my son even managed a massage before we left. Thank you for the experience.

I have stayed at the hotel a number of times, but this was the first time in approx 13 years. The hotel is looking a bit tired and needs more money/investment. Whilst the staff are generally good and try, the quality of the staff is not as good as it used to be, which does affect the experience. I tried to extend my stay by a night at the reception desk, to be told I needed to do this via Booking.com. The price I paid was cheaper than the price I had paid via the hotel's website.

The hotel is generally good, with good food and is in a great location/setting. The pools were well maintained and weren't over crowded, and are safe for younger children. The architecture of the hotel is still impressive.

Amazing property with great amenities! I really liked the spaces and connection to the surrounding and the environment! Truely a Geoffrey Bawa’s Architectural masterpiece. Really appreciate the friendly staff, whom were always positive and attentive to provide an amazing service! Special Thanks goes to Kavindu! Even she was a Trainee she made sure that we were treated well at the property.

Lift is broken. Only 1 lift for the whole hotel. Elderly cannot climb the stairs. Booked 3 people room for 3 of us., but in there only 2 cups available. Hair dryer not working. No milk( even small complimentary 1) in the fridge. When I call the reception, they said they will fill the bar with some charges. Normally some milk is there in the fridge in the other hotels as complimentary,even a small pack.

The entrance and location was very Cosy.. the check in was very easy and well assisted.. the welcome drinks were served in a unique cart...the room was clean with all required amenities.. hotel has two clean swimming pools...nearby the beach ..very good buffet in dinner and breakfast with infinite options...highly recommended

They didn’t have a kids pool which was inconvenient as I have an infant and toddler.

We booked the luxury suite and premium room. We were given special treatment which was incredibly nice as I had an infant and toddler. The staff were super friendly and cooperative. The rooms were very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. The pool and beach was just amazing!

There was some maintenance going on, so got woken up in the morning by loud noises a few times. I wish they could inform me in advance.

The location right next to the big and almost empty beach was magnificent. The experience at the spa was great, Prima gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had and you can tell she has a medical background. If you stay at this hotel, you should definitely get a massage. Chef Heshan and his team made the best meals. Absolutely amazing food! Love this place and I would love to come back.

I was not a fan of local sellers at the beach trying to sell us stuff even when we said no and they kept following us but it's a public beach and not in the hotel's control. The internet was also a bit spotty inside the rooms.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool was great and the public beach is nice. The hotel's food was the best part and the restaurant's options were excellent.
