Accomodation wise: Nothing at all. A little bit far away from the city center. But taking a tuktuk is so easy and cheap. So so breakfast. A little too sweet to our Turkish tooth.

Spotless clean, modern room and bathroom. Spacious room. Water, coffee tea all inclusive. Great household lady. She sincerely helps you with everything. Such a nice feel. The best quilt ever. Sleeping under was so nice (given the cold weather). Generous breakfast and such friendly service. Fresh juice, excellent curd and banana crepe.

oh my goodness. this place is absolutely charming! The room was hand painted in an explosion of flowers. The bed and the pillows were the best in Sri Lanka! and Heidi is a treasure. She will pick you up, suggest activities, feed you a gigantic breakfast with homemade yogurt and treacle and eggs and more…and take very good care of you. She’s the best!!

The most comfortable bed we slept in on Sri Lanka. Very beautiful colours and paintings everywhere. it is definitely a nice place to stay. the owner is also very nice and helps to find everything in the town.

Heidi’s home is full of positive energy. The hotel is designed with a lot of color and full of little creative details. Our room was very spacious with a nice view on the lake. Also the garden is very cozy. It is situated a bit out of the Nuwara Eliya centre but it only takes a 25minute walk next to the lake with stunning views. Heidi is very helpful to all your requests and makes a very nice breakfast in the morning!

Bathroom sink had a constant drip onto the floor - Heidi was quick to respond and bring lots of towels. There isn't a lot to walk to around the area. But it isn't difficult to get to the town. Breakfast fruit and omelette was good. Juice seemed to have too much sugar added. Breakfast was very bread heavy - white bread, french toast, crepe. Ask if Sri Lankan is available.

A lovely home with beautifully painted everything. It has quirky decor and has been curated so this room has a daybed, little outdoor balcony, and views of the lake. Despite it being the coldest place in September (low of 13 degrees), the place doesn't have and doesn't need heating - the provided blankets are warmer than those needed for European winter. Heidi is friendly and lovely. Couldn't ask for a nice host. Would stay again, next time for more than 1 night so can enjoy the region.

The stay at Heidi’s was hands down our best time in Sri Lanka! The place is even more magical and special in reality. We could not have imagined having a better time, truly. - Heidi: She is SO kind, helpful, and caters to your every need. She even upgraded us to the honeymoon suite as it was unoccupied with no over charge and washed our clothes. - The rooms: beautiful, luxurious and so original - The little garden/balcony: perfect for an end of day drink - The location: at the end of Gregory lake, and close enough to walk to the center - The delicious breakfast

This house is so nice and the different style with all the flowers looks really beautiful and it feels welcoming. We were greeted very lovingly and felt comfortable. It was a rainy and cold wheat er when we came but there were extra blankets and you could make tea on the room. Also we got a very good vegan breakfast. highly recommend to stay there! :-)

I loved its artistic design, hand painted everywhere with vibrant colors. I felt like I was inside a painting. Room is very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. The lady who served us breakfast in the morning is very accommodating. Walking distance to the lake.

Heidi is such a lovely host. Just to meet her would make a visit worth it! The room is very clean and cosy. The bed was the best we had in 2.5 weeks Sri Lanka! During our visit it was quite cold so we got some extra blankets and it was really cosy. Heidi is a great cook and made us exceptional dinner! She gives you also tips about what you can do around.

During nighttime there was a party nearby which caused loud noises.

We loved the colours in the bungalow. The artistic vibe and all the wallpaintings were very inspirational! The room was super clean and Heidi was really welcoming and helped us with great ideas on what to do in the area. The breakfast was delicious too.
