Work is still progressing on the upper level of the 2nd block. The hand railing on the balcony must be raised to a minimum of 950mm. To low at the moment.

This hotel is rustic beauty in the wild and enjoyed the two nights stay. The staff are super friendly and the food was tasty and very well cooked. Also, it was good to note that the hotel employee many locals, in the area. Quodos to the Owner.

Sunbed cushions are missing, which makes it very uncomfortable to lay on. Breakfast is not really rich in variety, we always got the same food. WiFi was lacking sometimes.

The only problem was the dirt or rather the mud road leading to the property. We had rains during our stay and our car could not reach the property. Our driver called them to ask for a tuk tuk to come fetch us. But for quite some time no one answered the phone. Finally they did and for the rest of our stay we travelled between the tar road and the property by three wheeler.

Except for the access issues everything was more than fine. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom great. The pool very nice and the peace and quiet much appreciated. But most of all: we loved the food! And the Staff were amazing! Es thoothie guys!!

What a wonderful little hotel - perfect pool to relax in, the breakfast was great and the staff were incredible. The staff were so helpful to organise all the local tours and even managed to find us a last minute train ticket from Kandy to Ella - went above and beyond! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay we will be back! 100% recommend!

Nothing. It's great.

This place is a hidden gem. The location is wonderful, right in the middle of nature, but easy to get to Sigiriya and the main areas. Ater a long day of walking/climbing the rocks you can relax by the pool in the middle of the jungle and just watch the incredible wildlife on your doorstep. The staff here are fantastic, Ashan, Suresh and the rest of the team go out of their way to make your stay great, they're absolute stars. Final shout out here is the food, the curry they do for dinners is excellent, best we've had in Sri Lanka.

The location was a little difficult to find. There was a sign at the end of the road but the drive to the location was far from the road. Some signs along the way would have made it a little easier to find. We were also told that they didn't accept credit card and had to pay in cash (rupees.) This could have been a language barrier though since we had our card on file through booking.com

The staff was very accommodating and so friendly! We enjoyed the views and listening to the sounds of nature from the patio which was very peaceful after a long flight. The A/C worked really well (great for my bf, not great for me as I'm always cold haha) and had a larger bathroom & shower then expected.

Nothing really, only the hot water supply needs some improvement.

The staff - a team of young, energetic, friendly, proactive, and welcoming boys. Their sunrise breakfast was a lovely experience. Bravo to Ashan, Tharusha, Suresh, Nimesh, Sandru. ps : we saw an elephant passing by the resort in the evening.

Excellent place between Dambulla and Sigirya to stay. Very good food, helpfu peoplel and clean. Good roomsize and bathroom.

Cleanliness could be improved. Offer fresh towels and clean the rooms every couple of days would be better. Sigiriya and dambulla both around 25 minutes and not much around the property itself however it’s very cheap in a tuk tuk and the staff will arrange these for you.

The staff at this property were great, very polite and got you anything you needed upon request. The food here was very nice also. Rooms very basic but for the price was worth it. The pool area was lovely and peaceful and well kept. Would go back and also recommend!

It was a bit far from all the restaurants of the town so we had to eat at the hotel almost all the times and had to take a tuk tuk for our activities.

Generally we had a very good experience. The rooms are nice and spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is also nice and the restaurant served good food.

Amazing small hotel with a swimming pool to relax. The staff is friendly very helpful and always smiling. The restaurant is perfect food delicious, we haven’t regret to have dinner there every night. It’s close to best attraction but suggest tuk tuk every time you want to go out.

The people were so incredibly kind. They go above and beyond. Sashi and Suresh are one of the names that made us feel so special. The pool is a dream. It really feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle, just nature sounds around.

What an amazing stay at Into the Wild! The accommodation is fantastic - beautiful, spacious and clean rooms and the location is surrounded by nature so is very quiet and peaceful. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and made our stay wonderful. We also ate amazing food for dinner and breakfast in the restaurant area. Thanks again!

The swimming pool could be cleaner and the breakfast was a bit poor. Also, it would be great, if they changed towels after 2 nights of stay. Otherwise, all good! :)

I loved the jungle location - there was a peacock in the garden, geckos, birds singing. The curry and rice is superb! The staff is very friendly, they help with everything.
