I had a great stay here. The room and bathroom were clean, there was a hot shower and a small terrace to sit on in the evenings. The family is lovely and help with all questions. They also offer a great cooking class which shows traditional cooking. I would come back again!

Absolutely adore this hostel and the hosts. They were the sweetest couple, who were always around to help you, give tips and also make you delicious food. I did a cooking class with them for 3000, which was incredible and so much cheaper than any other places and gave you a more authentic experience. I 100% recommend doing this is you are staying. They have a small restaurant where you can chill at and also a hammock. There was only one room, a four female dorm. It did get a little hot at times as there was only one fan for the room to share. It was clean and had a large bathroom. The location is perfect, just off the main street with some restaurants and mini stores around, but also a short walk to even more restaurants and it is fine walking to lion rock and pidurangala rock. If I came back I would definitely come back to stay and will recommend to all my friends that I know will be coming this way. Thank you for 💚

If you want a bit of magic you can find it here :) I booked 2 nights but when i saw neighborhood met the owners saw the room i extended 1 more night.Owners are georgus!!!sweet young couple whe was very helpful made me feel like a family member and as i travel for few months that was blessings to feel like at home.Decent breakfast everymorning,room with big beds with mosquiters there is big taras when you can meditate do yoga or just wat h birds or monkeys :)if you like nature and only good vobes this is place for you:).i will definitely back here .hardly recomend 💚💙💫

The door of the bathroom is broken, so you can't close it and also the fan didn't really work. But it was still cold enough as we left the windows open during the night.

I really liked this cute little hostel. Very chilled vibes and friendly hosts. The location is amazing as it's close to the rocks and another lake. The beds were quite big and a mosquito net was there as well.

The cleanliness of the toilet could be improved

The friendliness of the host family! They make you feel right at home in a little hut surrounded by nature. It was super special to have learned how to cook dhal curry with string hoppers one night with the host for our dinner!!

I arrived at this hostel to spend one night and ended up 4 and leaving was completely heartbroken 🥹❤️‍🩹It is a family hostel where I felt like one of the family, I am very very happy and grateful to have been lucky enough to find such a ✨special ✨place to which I will definitely return and of course recommend, because thanks to the hosts my experience in Sigiriya was spectacular🌄. This was the most welcoming and beautiful hostel i have stayed!! Run by a gorgeous young family who will make u feel at home and help u in anyway they can! Woman only hostel so as a solo girl I felt very safe. and met some great friends here :) Could not recommend more

Room was lovely, big bed and misquote net. Shower had hot water and there was a lockable cupboard for valuables. Hosts were so kind, very helpful and genuinely wanted to make sure everyone had a nice stay.

A very kind and helpful family. When an elephant entered their garden at night, the host took a great care of our safety, but let us have a glimpse of it. The family was chatty with a good energy, ready to answer any questions about the stay.

Some minor issues with the light/fan in the ceiling and no hot water. But they were already trying to fix it.

It felt a bit like a homestay. There is only one dorm with four beds. The family is amazing and will help you with everything you need. The newly opened restaurant of them was super tasty.

Everything was perfect!

I absolutely loved my stay here! A real highlight of my rime in sri lanka! The family was so welcoming and would have done anything for you. They showed me around the village, booked my elephant safari, and even taught me how to cook sri lankan food in the new kitchen!

Not enough hot water, no wifi and no plugs near bed, but for 1 night it's ok

The host was friendly. We have a ride around the town as a present. He lives next house with his small family and other house he hosts just women . I felt safe and welcomed. He can take you from the train station for less than taxi

I highly recommend this hostel! The hosts were so nice, very helpful, full of good recommandations. I would come back here anytime and for a few more days because it was so nice. Felt like home with this lovely family! The food was also very good and we were able to see how to make a curry with the host which was really fun :)

Everything was perfect.

The room was perfekt with a big comfy bed and a nice bathroom. I loved the place because it was quiet and peaceful bit you are in a few minutes in the centre where you can eat. Every sightseeing is in walking distance and its the perfect place to take a walk and enjoy the day. The family was super lovely and nice, could‘nt ask for more. It felt like a little SriLanka Home. They will also help you with everything and show you around places. Was one of my best stays while travelling!
