Good basic breakfast. Safari got arranged for us. Room was a bit dirty and drinks were a bit overpriced. A bit tricky to reach when its raining, but tuk tuk drivers will give their best to bring you there safely Very nice views though👍

The Road to the hotel is in a very bad condition. Contact the hotel before ur arrival so that they will give the directions. Payment accepted only cash which is a bit headache. Food prices are bit over rated.

Quite far away from anything. Noisy room ( mainly due to guests and water pump right outside my window. so didn’t sleep well. And disappointed as no view and bars on window made me feel claustrophobic

There is no "real road" leading to the location and Google Maps will probably guide you through muddy roads with deep holes. Make sure to contact the number privided to get correct directions. If you don't have a vehicle of your own it will be quite pricey to visit the surroundings. The Manager was helpful, however he charges horrendous prices for "local partners".

The Location is amazing if you look for a remote getaway. The views are stunning and you can hear various animals at night (which can be also quite loud!). You should not be walking outside of the property at night as it can be dangerous.

It can get a bit noisy - firecrackers at night to chase the wild elephants. You need a way to move around - if you miss getting a tuk tuk from the owner you will need to walk a bit to be able to order Pick me. Internet at the higher floors is of varying quality.

The room was spacious, the accommodation is literally set in the middle of the jungle on one side and rice patties on the other side. Welcoming staff. Organized a Jeep transport when the local road got flooded.

We had two rooms for three nights and had no hot water the entire time we were there. Also not sure if there was wifi. We were there in heavy rain and the dirt roads surrounding the property were flooded. Also had to pay in cash and with the food bill we incurred over our stay used up all of our cash.

The staff are wonderful- friendly and very helpful. The manager was exceptional and our rainy holiday was salvaged by his help in getting us out and about. All the people he recommended from tuk tuk drivers to jeep safaris to car drivers were fantastic. Also the restaurant served excellent food and very generous which is good because we ate at the restaurant each evening as had read getting tuks tuks back to resort was difficult due to rain and elephants! The rooms were comfortable.

It’s not close to anything else so you can’t get out for food or drinks elsewhere. Because of the presence of elephants at night (which there were every night we stayed) our driver didn’t want to drive there after dark. This meant we couldn’t go out into the town for dinner. Otherwise a wonderful spot

The Jungle Hut is set in beautiful grounds. The staff were very attentive food really good and the pool a great place to dip and cool down after packed days sight seeing! Our room had a tree growing up through it which was an interesting and nice architectural touch! It is off the beaten track and so quiet!

Staff were amazingly helpful, attending to all our needs. Breakfast was good, with two choices (local and continental) and good portion. We had a small issue with noise but they moved us to a different bedroom the morning after, which was very considerate.

Bad wifi. Very small and basic bathroom which had a bit of a smell. Hard chairs at the pool and no shadow. So maybe an advice to provide some pillows and sun blinds.

It was not easy getting out at night as there were wild elephants around. The plumbing was a little hit and miss.

I liked the way the property was set in a beautiful setting with wonderful flowers all around. The room was big and had a big bathroom. The beds were comfortable. There was a small pool that I did not use. The staff were very friendly and warm. Amazing location for Sigiriya and Pidurangala. Wonderful Auryvedic massage place 5 mins away.

We can recommend our stay with all our hearts. The apt was big enough for the family of 4, clean and nice. The location was perfect and it was definitely worth the money paid. The manager was extremely kind and helpful.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Only challenge is can’t walk around at night after dark but Manager arranged a driver for us so no problem.

We would appreciate a clean bathroom. Also, the owner told us not to follow the location from google maps. Because we arrived during the night, following his instructions was totally wrong. We recommend to use Google Maps location, was easier to follow that one.

We liked the location, being in the middle of the jungle and the garden was amazing! The room spacious same as the bed (big one)! Food was also tasty ❤️
