The safari offered by Dushan from the accomodation was the best! We saw everything, he is so knowledgeable about everything, he found the best spot for us, including the traditional Sir Lanka lunch with an outstanding view of the lake. They found the best options for our transportation and the room is perfect to relax after an exciting day!

My stay was incredible. The familiy who owns it was very very sweet. The room was clean and very big aswell. The Host answered all of my questions and even helped me with my transfer to an ATM and also to my next destination.The breakfast was delicious. I would love to stay there again someday. I reget that I booked my safari trip before i arrived there because she also offered me a safari trip. Keep that in mind before your book your trip online. :)

One of my favourite home stays I’ve stayed in!!! Perfect location and very comfy bed! The hosts are absolutely amazing! I went on a solo safari with Dushan the owner and he was extremely knowledgable and respectful of the animals! The I got lunch and dinner there and the food was the. Est Sri Lankan food I’ve eaten! So delicious and very filling! And they even took me for free to the Ayurveda garden close by! The homestay is right outside the national park - perfect location!

A very friendly host, Sakuni, that helped us booking safari ealy in the morning and also made a delicius breakfast to take with us! What a nice person! Fantastic homemade lunch and dinner!

One of our favourite places to stay in Sri Lanka, we were made to feel like part of the family. Everyone took care of our needs, from the ladies cooking us two exceptional evening meals and preparing our breakfast to take on safari, to the safari tour leader giving us a 6 hour guide, which was amazing. The rooms were basic but met our expectations for the price. There's not a lot going on in the area, this is Safari land and to see wild Elephants and an abundance of birdlife was just magical.

I had a really great stay here! The people are super friendly, accommodating and helpful! They also helped me book a safari spontaneously, which worked out very well! From breakfast to dinner everything was perfectly organized and the food was delicious! Also the room was great for a low price! Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable with a mosquito net, there was hot water and air conditioning. I can highl recommend the accommodation and would definitely come again!

Noisy street, it is busy with safari cars and tuktuks until late night.

Beautiful place right next to the nature park where you can meet elephants. Owners are very welcoming and take care of guests in highest level. And they can tell all the details about safari and organise it in a best quality. For extra pay you can have amazing dinner.

The location is on the main road, so some guests may have issues with traffic noise, especially if they do not turn the A/C on. The room had only a very small window and it was impossible to get it completely dark. Cash only.

Great location, close to the park entrance. Extremely friendly and helpful owners. Kudos to everyone. My room was simple but spacious and comfortable. The Sri Lankan breakfast was a treat. Dinner is also available for a supplement and is highly recommended. Safaris can also be arranged and I had a great half-day one that I booked directly with the staff.

An amazing and friendly place to stay in Udawalawe National Park. Accommodation is very nice and clean. Dushan gave us a lot of information and types for another places in Sri Lanka. We also booked 6 hours safari with Dushan's brother. It was amazing! Our guide told us a lot of interesting information about every animal in the park. We weren't in rush at all, he stopped at every nice place or when we spotted an animal. We didn't see almost any other jeeps. They also prepared for us delicious dinner, that was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Thank you 🙏

Strong smell of cleaning products when I got there so jut had to air the room out.

Lovely people and you can see elephants just over the road from the hotel and I had a tree full of birds outside my room. Good was nice and this accommodation is super value for money. Clean room and hot shower.

The location was perfect for the Elephant Transit House as well as the National Park. They helped us with booking a safari and having delicious meals ready for us. As an added bonus waking up to elephants accross the street was amazing !

Very friendly staff and family. They arrange everything what is possible. Good place very near nationalparc. Rooms are very clean. We had rooms with ac and fan, mosqito net/ but we do not need. The room was a little dark

The staff was really kind. We have a problem with our reservation and the room we reserved was not available when we arrived, they offer us two options: another place or another room for a cheaper price. To compensate the situation they offer us more time in the safari and a better breakfast that my son loved!! The safari was also really good, the driver was respectful with animals and gave us the time to enjoy the place.

Amazing location really close to the entrance of the national park and super lovely hosts who were happy to help with absolutely anything. We did the safari tour organised through the hosts which was amazing, really knowledgeable guide and the best Sri Lankan breakfast (food and view!) we have had so far!
