very friendly hosts who even helped us to get a tuk tuk to the temple and drove us to the main road as it was raining heavily. the room was very big and super clean. they prepared a take away breakfast with sandwiches for us to take to the train.

The location was perfect, only a 10mon tuktuk ride from the train station and situated in a quiet neighborhood. The room I reserved was quite big and could have accommodated 6 people. But what I appreciated the most was how hospitable Mr. Upul and his wife were. I felt so welcomed and taken care of during my stay and he was able to give me tips on places to see, eat, and how to get to my next destination in Dambulla. I would definitely recommend staying here to my friends and family should they ever get a chance to go to Kandy. I also appreciated the delicious breakfast Mr. Upul's wife cooked and her chicken curry was phenomenal and you get to enjoy it on their patio surrounded by their garden!

We had the most incredible stay at Kandy Tree tops. Upul and Baghia are the best hosts. Baghia’s cooking is the best cooking I’ve had in Sri Lanka (I’ve lived here 3 months). The room had a beautiful view across part of Kandy with a lovely bath you could use while enjoying the view. Room/ apartment was very comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. Upul also kindly helped arrange tickets for us for Perahera including helping to organise transport to and from. It was the best stay of our trip and they were such humble, personable, kind and generous hosts. I will definitely stay there each time I stay in Kandy.

Nice location up the hill and away from the busy Kandy streets. The family owners were so friendly and helpful, easily arranging a Tuk Tuk when we needed transportation and serving a delicious breakfast. The family room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for our one night stay before we got the train from Kandy station the following day.

Kandy Tree Tops was the perfect retreat only a 10 minute tuk tuk ride away from a somewhat chaotic Kandy! We felt very safe and relaxed as soon as we entered the gates of Tree Tops. The staff were incredible at making us feel at home and gave us top tips for our time in Kandy. The room was huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious too. You won’t regret staying here- the perfect base to explore Kandy and surrounding areas.

We absolutely loved our time at Kandy Tree Tops and were so sad to leave after just one night. We booked the junior suite which was huge, complete with a separate living area and small kitchen, large bathroom with both shower and bath, with beautiful views overlooking the city. Upul and his wife were so kind and such incredible hosts and the staff members at the property were super friendly and helpful too. Upul helped us book transport into the centre of Kandy for a fair price during the Perahera which was a great help. It was also only a 7 minute drive into the centre so very well located. The property itself is beautiful and set on a quiet street, with a huge garden full of tropical flowers - it really was stunning. We had an amazing sleep - everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and we woke up to a delicious breakfast prepared by Upul’s wife. The breakfast rivalled that of what we’ve had at several 5 star hotels during our time in Sri Lanka and the chicken curry was incredible. Everything was done with love and kindness and we so appreciated the kind hospitality. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this peaceful oasis as a must stay when visiting Kandy.

Lovely stay. Upul and Bhagya are both available when needed. Super supportive. We stayed in family room and it was very spacious. Breakfast was arranged every morning overlooking the garden and hill, it's very quiet and relaxing.

The location is ok on average but not really right next to any point of interest, thereby requiring transportation for each outing. Finding your way back to the hotel afterwards requires some preparation as it's not on a major road.

The welcome by the owner and his entire family really added to the warm feeling of this home stay kind of accommodation. They all provided personalized welcome as well as useful tips to move around town. More, they really provided kindness in looking after our daughter who we had to leave at the hotel (due to serious food poisoning just before reaching Kandy...) while we went on a full day excursion. The breakfast served in the lush garden outside our room was an excellent experience. Our room suite for 4 people was more like a small private apartment with 2 separate rooms and a stting room plus kitchen.

We really loved this place. The owner and his family are incredibly kind and hospitable. Their daughter recommended us two restaurants and we chose them for dinner for both evenings - great choices. The room (apartment actually) is spacious, new, the AC works flawlessly, the bathroom was fully functional. They gave us recommendations of temples and places to visit, the breakfast was prepared by the owner's wife and it was a treat - mix of local and Western, sufficient variety and very tasty. A wonderful family with a great accommodation - we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone staying in Kandy! 🙏👌

Nestled on the hills amongst trees and with a view of the city. When we arrived there was a warm welcome and excellent advice on where to go for dinner and a helpful tuktuk driver. Breakfast is provided by the gracious and welcoming hosts. This was our daughter‘s favourite breakfast! The junior suite is fabulous and has everything you need.

Was nothing not to like .

The property was of such high quality . We had a stunning view from our apartment which was so spacious . It had a beautiful bedroom and bathroom , very comfortable lounge with kitchen area .Tuk tuk or taxi could drop or pick you up right at bottom of steps to your apartment and it was all surrounded by beautiful gardens . It was far enough out of city to be peaceful yet you could see all of Kandy from it and only took a few minutes ride to get down into centre . Breakfast was across in the family home again which was very beautiful and you were looked after superbly by the owners . Could not recommend this property enough . If you’re ever visiting Kandy definitely stay in an apartment here .

This place is an absolute gem - a perfect oasis in the middle of busy and bustling Kandy. Could not find fault with anything. The room was spotlessly clean and large. The surrounding gardens were lush and very well maintained. Beautiful breakfasts made all the more enjoyable by the conversations and laughter with the family around the table. A very central location to explore Kandy by foot or tuk tuk.

The railway going to Kandy station runs in the valley below, and early/late trains are noisy with their horn sounds that can be heard during sleep time.

The accommodation is located inside the property of a charming and welcoming couple, a bit aside the main road to access Kandy, on a hill side off the busy Kandy center. The suite is really spacious and clean, has a nice view on the valley, and is really well equipped. Ideal for a couple. Breakfast is cooked by the lady of the house, and is really delicious and generous.
