What would have been useful and would involve a cost - the room was big enough - is either access to a fridge to keep drinks cold or a small in room fridge.

Location was reasonable central to the bus terminals I needed to get to. And to the caves just a short tuk tuk ride away. Also close (about 20 minutes) to the rock temple and safari tour that had been organised. Grocery shop across the road was handy and some of the restaurants nearby including Pizza Hut and another restaurant just this side of the Pizza Hut shop which had an excellent range of locals foods and juices.

I was greeted and helped for two days by a couple of kids that even though are nice and cute, unfortunately don’t understand much English, apparently the adults were in business far away; beware: they only take cash for payment

No hot water, dripping in the bedroom, dirty walls in bathroom. Was a bit difficult to communicate with people working there - they should be more confident with giving information.

It was a bit far and difficult to find for a solo traveler.

The care taker and cook was am amazing persona, he made me a good breakfast and treated me really well. Family care at the hotel. Facilities are pretty good.

WiFi was a little weak and they don’t take card payments.

We liked pretty much everything about this property. The property itself was lovely and clean, spacious and well equipped. We arrived very early as we weren’t well and the family welcomed us without question, quickly got the room ready which enabled us to rest and recover. The property was well situated for the local temples and the bus station is also nearby. The breakfast next day was superb. The family really couldn’t do enough for us and are by far the best staff we have had the pleasure of meeting during our stay in Sri Lanka.
