Sri LankaThere was free WiFi but for some reason it wasn't the best. Maybe something that can be fixed easily. The pool could have been a bit cleaner especially the area below the stairs - not a deal breaker though.
Lazy Koala turned out to be a gem of a hotel. It's not fancy - think more value for money that covers the basics very well and more. It's conveniently located next to the main road and within walking distance of a few restaurants as well. The facilities were great too - the pool, the sunbeds, the rooftop terrace, parking were all great additions. We booked the dorm room and loved the simple room layout, and the bunk beds, power outlets, lighting and storage. The bathrooms were clean and well equipped as well - special note on the excellent water pressure. The staff were super helpful and breakfast was good too. Can recommend!

Sri Lanka1) Breakfast tasted ok but the items available were very basic for the price, which is not worth the money. It had only watermelon juice, bread toast, butter, jam, omlette or fried egg, two small sausages, 3 fruits, tea or coffee. 2) Rooms didn’t have a tea, coffee corner 3) For the price the location is not worth since it’s not with beach access, it’s in-front of a busy road. Price should be less I believe. 4) No balcony chairs

IndiaFacility to ring at the gate to notify the reception. Coming there for the 1st time and seeing the outdoor bell being broken / not available was confusing on how to contact.
Loved the hospitality of the facility maintaining staffs and the location. As a solo traveller, explored the bunker option and they were comfortable and budget friendly. The cleanliness of the rest rooms and the overall facility was really well maintained. Will come back again with my family.

The view was really nice, and so was the room. Clean comfortable, the shower was really nice and spacious. Plus really close to the bus stop to go to Colombo.

Sri LankaSuggestion: Would be great if there were electric kettles and some coffee sachets in the rooms. The staff was kind enough to provide service at late hours but we would’ve preferred not having to disturb the staff after hours.
The location is awesome, it’s about 1.5km from the Hikka town so the property was very relaxing and quiet, and it’s a short walk to the town. The interior is colorful and chic. Rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. There’s also beanbags laid out inside the rooms and on every floor of the building! The place is great whether you’re coming with a group, as a couple or alone, and for leisure or work. It’s a very calming space. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. No complaints.

The staff is so lovely and helpful. The dorms are really clean and comfortable with a nice sea view! you don’t get that everywhere. English breakfast is good. Common areas are well decorated. I really enjoyed my stay and extended for one more night. Thank you for everything!

Georgiathere was no hot water when we were staying and the manager told us that he replaced it with free breakfast,but the next day he said that we didn’t understand him and no free breakfasts for us wi fi in the room 5 was poor,I needed to go out and to sit on the stairs near the room to have a n online lesson the manager or the owner I don’t know,he wasn’t so welcoming,we stayed firstly for one night and then we decided to stay for a couple days there before departuring,so we payed him for a first night,and then for the next one,every time he met us there was no good morning good day there was only when do you pay??? it’s not welcoming at all,do you really think that we left our staff in your hotel and go away without paying. we stayed there only because there was no other options,but as I said no hot water no breakfast no wi fi so no pleasure
