The place was so cute and felt like home. The family running the place were so friendly and smiley which made the place feel so nice and comfortable. The dorms were really comfy and had good mosquito nets! Really close to the beach and a delicious dinner made by the ladies every night for everyone which was so good ☺️

We had the best time here! The family dinners with mama were amazing, the location is great and we met lovely people. Highlight of our stay were the two dogs that roamed close to the hostel, Ruth and Rascal have our hearts forever

Maybe an extra fan.

I had a beautiful experience at this hostel! The host and her family were lovely people to have a chat with. I met few amazing travellers who enjoyed their stay as well. I stayed in the mixed dorm room. There’s no AC but we had fans to keep the air flowing and cool. The toilets and bathrooms were shared with all guests and they were kept well clean! The location was perfect, walking distance from the bay and few restaurants around with a souvenir and small grocery store. The dinner organised at night was delicious and brought everyone together making it very social! Lovely outdoor seating area to do some reading. Definitely has many monkeys and dogs around so you gotta be a nature and animal lover to enjoy this spot!

The hostel was spacious and provided everything you needed. Moreover, it's very conveniently located, nearby the beach and a very good eating spot. Easy to chill and you can also join the social dinner, freshly prepared. Only beware of your shoes at night but they do warn you not to leave them outside.

Cool place, welcoming and helpful staff. Close to the beach and good restaurants, clean, nice showers, calm, the beds have a net you can close to block mosquitoes and good fans.

Some of the ceiling fans in the room are broken, the windows are not clean, and the hammock outside is torn.

Very cozy colourful beautiful friendly safe hostel walking distance from the beach with a clean kitchen. The yellow lighting was lovely.

- The rooms and the bathroom area were dirty and not cleaned - It was mold in the doorm and the pillows - The beds were also not clean with hair and dust on the blankets - It smelled old and moldy in the room and it was too hot in here - The refill water was disgusting with a strong chlorine taste. Wouldn't recommend to drink this water - The owner told us 1 day before checkout we have to pay our bill in the next 1,5 hours, we were not in town so had to pay a tuktuk to come back to the hostel because she forgot to tell us sooner she is later not here anymore - Doesn't look like the pictures anymore!!

It was very hot in the room, there was one fan but it was fixed into the wall and did not help very much.

The atmosphere, staff was very nice and helpful. Location was perfect as well.

Super cute little hostel only 5min walk away from the beach & surf spot. They have friendly staff & the rooms are clean. We had a double room with fan which was perfect. Directly next to the hostle you can find a really good local Restaurant its called Kingsly, they have the best local food we had in town! We definitely come back.

The house is so cute with plenty showers and toilets . The outdoors sitting communal space is great for chilling on a super hot day or evening . Love the frogs 😀 And the evening dinners a delight and great Value

It’a not the most social hostel, but people are still very nice! You just have to make an extra effort to meet new people

It’s very clean, chill vibes, just 2 minutes walk from the beach, there is a nice kitchen and chill area in the jungle. I came back four times during my two months in Sri Lanka and always felt home!

It is one of those places where the most common question is: Can I extend my stay? The garden is extremely nice. The kitchen is free to use which is pretty rare in Sri Lanka. The beach is literally minutes away. The beds are big and comfy. All the facilities are great and clean. The family dinner is also an amazing experience with delicious local homemade food. Highly recommend to stay here as a solo traveller.
