Everything was as expected

The location is good, if you enjoy being among nature and to be away from the hustle - it is quiet and set amongst the green in the jungle, in an area of mostly local houses. It was a 15/20 min walk down to the Main Hiriketiya beach and most of the eateries and bars. Close to Blue Beach turnoff. A really affordable stay with a kind family, who let me use the kitchen, offered laundry services and one night asked me to eat a yummy home cooked meal with them. Their children are so sweet and bring a nice energy to the homestay! The room was away from their main house (up above), so felt private, with a little table outside on the roof to sit undercover from the sun in the day. It's very chill. Simple housings, but comfortable. There is a fan and decent space for luggage. I enjoyed my time here! Thank you for having me :)

The room and specially the open bathroom was beautiful and it was funny to see some monkeys in the trees while taking a shower. The hosts were very helpful and kind. I liked the location, as it was not in the main area but very near to both hiriketiya and blue beach.

I enjoyed my stay a lot! It truly feels like a home and you get all the help you might need. Sleeping with all the jungle sounds in the background was magical. Blue beach and Hiriketiya Beach are around the corner. I would love to come back some day!

For cooking, you can use the Kirchen if the Family. This is a nice option but a tiny bit inconvenient. Nevertheless there arw okenty of restos around

Cozy Little Hut in the backyard with outdoor shower and bathroom. Linu abd her Family were very welcomiing and supportive. Beaches within 5 min by foot, peaceful Surroundings….

Very quiet, clean and great location blue beach island 10 mins walk,hirikeketia beach which has good surf and Kool bars &Kool vibes. Also it’s 15 mins walk to the fishing harbour 1kg fresh tuna rps 1000 which Prasadi cooked for me,

Good location away from the busiet parts but close walking distance to get there. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed with a good mosquito net. Loved the bathroom, which is an outdoor kind (closed walls but open ceiling) and lets you enjoy the feeling of being in nature.

Loved our stay here! The hut is clean and has good mosquito nets around the bed, you are surrounded by the jungle and there’s lots of monkeys. Good facilities and location is close to the beaches / township. The family who runs the hostel are very kind. Highly recommend :)

Very wonderful family. Super nice place. Beautiful five minute walk to main surfing beach. I can’t say enough how much I recommend this place! Great value for money. Actually, I’m staying a full month instead of two days. Say no more. The woman speaks English and is super helpful. The accomodation is separate from the main home so space private. Wow!❤️

We had a lovely stay at Linu Homestay, even extended it to stay longer because we enjoyed it so much. Loved the outside shower! Great secluded location hidden in the trees, with only a short walk to the beach and lots of local places to eat. We were well looked after, even got some fresh ice cream on arrival ☺️ thank you.

There is a small local beach but the main surfing beach is a 15 minute walk.

Linu's is located on a quiet hillside overlooking the ocean. They have a bicycle on site that you can use to explore. There are lots of monkeys, peacocks, and large monitor lizards in the area. They also have a modern well equipped kitchen that the guests can use.

As indicated in the description, the homestay is a big away from the center. Requires at 10 min walk to go to the beach.

The little house is directly in the jungle, and the room was very clean. In addition, the bathroom is an outdoor bathroom with was a really cool experience. The staff and her family are very nice.
