We didn’t see any clear info on breakfast/dinner prices until we got the receipt so it would be helpful if the information was there somewhere before. The food was delicious so it was worth it though :)

Very clean and comfortable room with air conditioning. We had a long, tiring day before we arrived and it was a big relief to rest in a nice place and have a hot shower. The view from the terrace is amazing.

A few maintenance issues with the hot water sadly, not a big problem but do need to be sorted. I would have appreciated a price list on check in. Everything was good value for money though but guests should be aware in advance.

Wonderful family running a homely, clean, comfortable guest house. I had the corner room upstairs and it had a brilliant view of the paddi fields. The food options are frankly, astonishing. Delicious and plentiful. Lots of fresh fruits, eggs, and Sri Lankan options for breakfast and the dinner was equally as varied and wonderful. Had to keep begging to have less food to save me from myself! The room was spacious enough and was well maintained. Bike rental is available and the location is good for the ancient sites. Man and his wife for an amazing job are extremely helpful and will make sure you can have a perfect experience in Polonnaruwa.

Nanusha and her family are delightful. The location is lovely, overlooking a paddy field bordered by forest. Very peaceful with abundant bird life. Nanusha's home cooked suppers were delicious as were her breakfasts. This guesthouse offers exceptional value for money. Highly recommended.

Man Guest House is a clean, quiet and wonderful room with most astonishing view, unique for watching local birds as peacocks, ibises and king fishers right outside the room on the balcony. Extremely friendly guest family with top service. Close to the amazing site of the Polonnaruwa Ancient City with the monumental temples and ruins from the 12th century Kingdom of Polonnaruwa. The cooking is very good, wonderful breakfast and the best rice curry! The site can be used for yoga-classes too. just wonderful. most recommended! love HC and Uffe

The breakfast was OK. We really liked the location of the hotel. It was very quiet. The room was cozy, spacious and clean. We relaxed in the evening at the terrace/balcony and enjoyed the sounds of the nature (you could hear lots of crickets and frogs).

The view from my room was awesome! I had an endless view of rice paddies. The location is great 😄, as it's super close to the ancient town. The room was basic but clean. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place - it has a nice vibe

The room was neat & clean. Chilling terrace near the room. Nice owner. Location close to archeological museum. Not much mosquitos.

No free water available. For the curry fish, maybe we would have prefer the fish in the sauce instead of the fish fried on the side.

We liked the view over the rice fields, the place near everything, and our host took care of us : we rented the bikes with him and he organised the safari to see the elephant. The food was good and in big quantity.

The perfect host! You have to try the dinner and breakfast. Home cooked and delicious! We booked an elephant safari which was amazing.

The bicycles need to be repaired and overhauled. Otherwise, everything was fine. Extra fees for breakfast, bikes, dinner.

We had a very friendly host. We were very late at his place. He still made us dinner and waited until we were on site. After our stay, he gave us a ride to the coast (extra fee). The breakfast was incredible good!
