I had a great stay! The guesthouse is run by a retired woman. She is really lovely, loves to chat and makes you feel at home. The room was very clean and hot water/tea/coffee was available. Recommended for small budget!

Nice stay to do a stage of the Pekoe trail that is beautifully surrounded by tea plantages. Basic spacious room, tea available, friendly host not always easy to talk and understand each other in English but you can tell she cares and I was in contact with her daughter via whatsapp who helped me super quickly with any question I had.

Everything was good

I had a very pleasant stay. Kalaiselvi was very helpful and welcoming. She helped me with questions and I was also able to rent a scooter. The room fits the price-performance ratio and I had a beautiful view of the mountains. I would definitely come back again.

Nothing to dislike personally. The property is slightly out of town (about 10 minutes walk from the train/bus stations) which didn't bother me but is worth mentioning.

Lovely spacious comfortable room with outside seating area that's shaded for most of the day. Electric shower wasn't the most powerful but as good as any other that I have had in Sri Lanka. The big plus point though is the friendliness of the owner. Also I rented a top quality scooter from the property for a couple of days which was a nice bonus.

Such a comfortable spot that over-delivers for its price. The rooms are simple, but clean, and I appreciate having a kettle and some tea. Location is about 10min walk from the centre of Haputale. Scooters are available for hire if needed. Host is fantastic: humorous, sincere, interesting, and helpful. Thank you! I would have stayed another night, but had already been booked. Nice views from the (shared) patio.

Excellent room, clean, well equipped, beautiful, at affordable price. Kale, the host, is a cream, helpful. You can also rent a motorbike to visit the tea plantations, very convenient since there are not a lot of options in the town. I wish I could have taken more time enjoying the terrasse.

Very friendly host, I felt safe as a solo woman. Beautiful view and clean room. Only 10-15min walk from the train station. Very good quality for the price ! It can be a bit noisy during the day because the main road is close by. Thanks for your warm welcome

The owners are very kind and helpful people. The room and the bathroom also (with hot water and basic toiletries) were very clean, there is a nice view from the room. The room comes with some tea bags, a kettle and bottled water. Kalai prepared a nice breakfast for my request, it had some additional cost, but it was more than enough. She called a tuk tuk for me to the train station too. I highly recommend this place. :-)

Hot water was available but the pressure.was low. It is advisable to confirm the check out time as there seems to be discrepancies between the time mentioned on booking.com and the operator.

The hospitality and kindness from the host exceed my expectations. I enjoyed my stay, the facilitates were good and I highly recommend the place. For travellers of the Pekoa trail that do the stage 12 or 13 , the guest house is located in a quiet road with beautiful view. If I come back to Sri lanka , I would definetely stay again here. Thank you Kali ( I probably spell the name very bad) for everything.
