Very limited hot water for showers (though this is typical for many places in Sri Lanka).

A unique experience in the pods. Grounds were lovely with a big pool. Great to stay somewhere different from the "typical" hotels. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. A short drive from Lion Rock.

The staff were amazing! Helped us organise our trip to be perfect! Assisted in booking elephant safari, drivers, tuk tuks and organised a lovely Christmas dinner with entertainment. Would recommend to stay here!

The place is excellent. It's a nice concept resort. The staff is absolutely amazing and accommodating. Despite our problem with a friendly mouse, they managed to handle it. They also found a way to make it up to us later. Well done on that gesture! The food is good; we liked the buffet in the evening and the personal touch from the chef.

We had a very pleasant stay at NIVADOO. The room is clean, a bit on the small side but very cozy. The air conditioning works well. The bathroom was clean but the shower cabin could use some updating. The pool was large and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helped us to arrange a transfer. We would recommend this location. The road to the hotel is about a hundred meters unpaved. If you want to visit Sigirya you will have to take a tuk tuk. A nice tip to eat outside the hotel is 'Big Bites', a small restaurant around the corner with delicious Sri Lankan dishes.

Track up to the property needs sorting. Still able to drive up but full of potholes. Slightly away from Main restaurant and bars however tuk tuk only 600 rupees back.

Pool was lovely. Beds very comfortable. Staff were so friendly and really spacious clean room for a family of 4. Son is coeliac and they made home some gluten free pancakes which was amazing. Pool table was a nice touch

The staff is very welcoming; they assisted with organizing a trip to Sigiriya and provided transportation to Nuwara Eliya. The bungalow is very comfortable and clean. Laundry service is available. The pool is clean. The breakfasts are delicious and varied daily. The dinner menu is also tasty with a wide range of options.

Only the garden around the pool area was maintained well, but not the backyard where our room was located. Should maintain that too.

Located in a calm and quiet environment not so far from the main road. Beautiful and unique concept for the hotel with almost all the facilities for a comfortable stay. Staff were so friendly.

The dirt track/ side access road isn’t all that easy for vehicles to get down although it does add to the ‘glamping feel’. Rather than come to collect our bags from the car the staff seemed to be scrambling to make our welcome juice (which wasn’t particularly nice) - would suggest focusing on a warmer welcome instead.

Our room was more like a standalone mini chalet/ bungalow vs. the domed structures shown in the pictures which I think are for smaller groups. The room was very spacious with a decent sized ensuite bathroom and a good outdoor decking area. The area by the pool is also very relaxing although as some other reviewers have noted the pool looks a little on the murky side.

Everything was amazing except the food. Need to work a bit on the food, would give about 6/10. Good portions though. Oh would be better if they fixed the road leading to the hotel.

Amazing set up for a hotel, individual kottage type rooms. Was clean and confortable. Loved the interior and the setup. Staff was amazing especially Poonalochini who served us all throughout our stay with a smile and was very attentive to all visitors. Also Thilak the driver who drove us around and made aure we got where we wanted to go and made sure we had a safe journey. Pretty good pool as well.
