We stayed in Kandy for one night, only slept in the room. We arrived early in the morning, the room was still occupied. The hostess allowed us to change clothes and leave our things, for which we are very grateful to her! We returned late in the evening, immediately took a shower and went to bed. The room was clean and tidy. Mosquito nets over the beds. A guest was waiting for us in the shower, a large spider! We panicked with fear, but the hostess quickly solved the problem with a bucket! Our savior! In the morning we woke up from the singing of birds. Silence, chipmunks running... The place is wonderful! Thank you for your hospitality!

The host was very lovely and helpful, happy to recommend a responsible taxi driver to our next destination and provided an umbrella for the rain! We only stayed one night and it was great for what we needed, a good location and comfortable bed.

The place is super clean and very accessible from the Kandy lake(a short walk). The owner is super friendly and nice. It also has a small patio.

Mattress was too soft and we would just sink in. Takes a long time for the mattress to recover its shape.

Clean and quiet room close to the heart of Kandy. Bathroom was spacious and basic amenities like a kettle and complimentary 1L bottle of water was provided. Do remember to bring along your own shower gel & shampoo. Very lovely porch to sit around at night, enjoying the cool breeze and stargazing.

We had a full ant invasion and I had to completely empty my whole backpack and things to get rid of all the ants. On further inspection outside was full of them. The bed was comfy but as soon as you move the creaks and so I kept waking up every time my husband moved. The room was very tired and a lot of cobwebs with dead flies in them. The location is not in the centre. We walked with our backpacks up the hill and it was tough, we live in the Italian alps so a mountain for us is nothing, but with luggage it’s hard work.

Spacious room, very quiet except the monkeys on the roof to wake you up!! But can’t be helped. Host was nice when we arrived.

Amazing host. Super friendly woman. Rooms are nice and spacious. No AC, but this is not required because the temperature drops at night and the fan provides more than enough cooling. The hot shower is also very nice. The perfect room for that budget!

Nothing wrong with the place itself but it is near a restaurant/ bar down the street that was blasting music out till about 1am, so it was hard to get an early night.

I was only staying a night so just needed somewhere to put my head down and this was perfect for that. Away from the bustle of the city on the other side of the lake, with a lovely host that was very helpful and attentive. The room is quite basic but had a private bathroom with lovely hot water. For the price I couldn't ask for me really.

Quiet, clean, spacious room up above the Kandy Lake View Point. Walk down to town and tuk-tuk or motorcycle taxi up. I enjoyed being able to use the kitchen. Otherwise, when in town I ate at Balaji Dosa. Relaxed and comfortable stay.

The host at the property was extremely sweet and attentive. The bed was super comfortable and everything was clean. The city center is close by foot (10/15min depending on pace). The property is on a small hill, it didn't pose an issue for me, but I will leave this remark.

Good location, nice view over the lake, walking distance from the center. Yes, very uphill, but as long as you are not travelling with huge suitcases, you're fine. The landlord was very friendly and communication was good

Everything was better than expected.

The pictures where as shown. Large room, bed very comfortable, extremely clean, hot water 24/7. Safe area. The location is excellent. 2 blocks away from Kandy Lake View and 15 walk to city center. Be aware that most of the Hotels are located on the hills. The owner was waiting on my arrival, gave me a tour of the property and was always smiling and ready to help me with my many questions about the area. She is authentic when trying to help and it is another reason for enjoying the place so much. Highly recommended!!

If you are wanting an area with more good restaurants nearby this one has some but they are about a 15-20 minute walk downhill. Take a tuktuk to get back up the hill!

The owner greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our room which was clean and spacious. The property is located uphill in Kandy which allows you to have a beautiful view of the city. We did our laundry and set our stuff out the dry. When we came back after a day of activities the owner told us that monkeys had came and thrown our items on the ground. She had been so kind and washed everything and set it out to dry for us again. This property is great value and has a kind host!

Beautiful location on the hill above the city but in walking distance to the centre. The host was very nice and helped us getting transport to the station the next morning. In the evening I was sitting outside on the porch and listening to the tree frogs singing while the rain was silently falling. It was very beautiful
