Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe only improvement I can suggest is regarding the wifi. In the common lounge upstairs I got a very slight wifi signal but none in the room. We need wifi as we travel so we can book onward accommodation, so this was a little frustrating. Everything else was top notch and I recommend this place.
Good sized room and very clean. Our host was lovely and friendly and gave us a breakfast of coffee, toast, sausages and eggs. Lots of little shops and cafes around the location and about 10 mins walk to beautiful, deserted beaches.

United KingdomAircon in communal room is a great idea. Makes hanging out as a large family easier and comfortable. The rooms were lovely and clean. The pool was great and had a cooling jacuzzi area. Very close to the beach which is a short walk away. The road down to it, you meet lovely Sri lankan families all happy to meet you. The people were lovely and very friendly. Keen to party with you, will bring loud music if you say yes to a party. It is close to a super market and a walk to local restaurants.There is a communal fridge for any food or drinks you want to keep cold. Just be wary others are staying there, maybe bag it seperate. We rented motorbikes which helped us get around easily. There were ten of us and were able to accommodate us all greatly.

United KingdomThe staff were absolutely amazing they go above and beyond to make your trip absolutely perfect they are so welcoming and kind I would 100% recommend to anyone travelling to Sri Lanka to stay here!! The food is some of the best I’ve had and the facilities are beautiful with a fab pool and palm trees they even cut fresh coconuts for you in the mornings and are constantly on hand for anything you need it really has made our trip Thankyou for being so kind to us and helping us with some great tourist spots to!! Everyone must stay here

FinlandWhen I saw the girls were hot I knew that there was a possibility of prostitution in that place so I looked for one more hotel and went to the booking if you are coming see if it is good you see otherwise they will spoil your money and your belongings.
When I went to their tribe, I did not see anyone there. If I contacted them on the phone, they did not answer the phone.

United Kingdom-There were a few mosquitos that got into the rooms at night through bathroom vents and the front door -The owner of the villa was staying upstairs with his family and therefore was using the kitchen space which hindered our privacy a little bit -The TV was a bit difficult to use so we had to ask the owner for help a few times, would appreciate some instructions on how to use it -Would appreciate if the bed linen would cover the whole bed -The pool was a lovely size but it was a pity that the water was a little dirty
-Friendly staff - tried their very best to make us comfortable, during these very difficult times in Sri Lanka especially during power cuts. -The bedrooms and washrooms were clean -The living room was clean with a comfortable sofa -The AC worked well -Nice large television -The staff at the villa offered homemade food, we particularly enjoyed the devilled chicken which was delicious, however we weren't a big fan of the kotthu and pasta dishes but we appreciated the effort.
