Amazing stay at PearlDrop Waves! The staff were so friendly and amazing with our young daughter - hugs all around when we left :-) they couldn’t have done more to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location was great, away from the busy centre of Mirissa but close enough it was an easy walk or tuk tuk ride in. Right on a beach and close to many others! Amazing! Thank you

We had a great time at Pearldrop waves. The owner was very polite and was always available and happy to help us and accommodate us (whether we wanted a tuktuk or information about yala safari). Also we had dinner at the hotel that was great value for money.

Location is about 10-15 minutes outside of Marissa, easy walk and felt safe at all times of the day. From the hotel can walk along the beach through a trail to Coconut Hill; along the way there are some beautiful secluded spots to watch the sunset. Room was on the smaller side but had nice private balcony, everything was clean, toiletries provided. Filtered water available. Delicious breakfast - western or Sri Lankan.

What a lovely hotel in the quieter end of Mirissa, lovely facilities great breakfast and lovely hosts. The room was exactly what we needed and a beautiful rooftop to watch the world go by.

Fantastic location on the beach. We were able to walk the whole way along the shore to Coconut Tree Hill and continue onto Turtle Beach, and then Mirissa Beach. The room was comfortable and had a nice balcony. Staff were great and went out of their way to help. Great value for money.

Views,breakfasts.Staff were all lovely and Owner Eranga was extremely helpful and arranged trip and tuk tuk driver for us. We were going on safari the next day andhe helped identify some birds I had already photographed. All in all a superb place to stay. Thanks. Alan and Joyce.

This was THE best accommodation of our trip. The owner was really nice, helpful, he did everything possible for us. The whole hotel was beautiful and our room? I slept like a princess. Food delicious, when we had an early trip outside, they gave us food package. Dinner was also really nice. Everything was clean, beautiful view at ocean. Definitely would go here again.

It was a little bit off from town and beaches, you can't swim at the beach by the hotel because of the dead coralls and stones.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful place. Large, modern, clean and comfortable rooms. We had a nice balcony with amazing ocean view. Food was really good includes big and tasty breakfast. Stuff were super helpful and nice! We would love to come back.

Be aware that this is about a 25 walk (or short/cheap Tuk Tuk ride on PickMe) from the main beach and town area of Mirissa. While you can get to the sea just by the hotel, at mid - high tide the sea is right up and it's not really possible to walk towards the town so you'll need to go up to and along the main road. But that does mean it's quieter and it was no inconvenience to us at all.

A bit out of town (which is why we chose it), this is a lovely, friendly, quiet place with very comfortable rooms, a great roof terrace, and a small pool on the ground floor for cooling off in. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Added bonus, where you can get to the sea just by the property, adults turtles were feeding just by the shore. We were told they turn up there everyday about 4/5pm so it may be worth a look (though see below about limited access for walking on the beach there ... which may be why the turtles are such regular guests!)

Wonderful Stay Near Coconut Tree Hill We had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse! The location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Coconut Tree Hill. The hosts were incredibly attentive and always available when needed, making us feel very welcome. The room was perfect for our needs—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. We also had dinner there one evening, which was equally tasty. While the beachfront has rocks instead of sand, this wasn’t an issue as beautiful sandy beaches were just a 15-minute walk away. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this guesthouse!
