The room was nice and clean. We could choose between Sri Lankan and western breakfast which was great. The place is very close to the main beaches of Mirissa. I also appreciate that the owner gave us useful tips and advice about our stay and further transport.

Couldnt swim at beach but the sound of the sea was very nice; not easy to dry towels etc when monsoonal

The only thing to improve is the location (address). Initially I struggled to find out but the manager guided me. It took a little while to reach the exact location. It would be great if management updates the accurate location/address in the system. So that guests wouldn't struggle to get there. Apart from that I didn't see any significant improvement points. Thank you.

The staff - Eranga (the manager) was great - very helpful and friendly. He was directly involved with all guests to serve well. The property was very clean and in a great location. It is just by the beach, 200 m away. That's why you can enjoy the view of the beach from the room balcony and rooftop. Guests are not allowed to go with shoes or slippers inside the room and its vicinity hence it maintains high standards of cleanliness. Breakfast served very well and delicious with Sri Lankan variety. It was flexible to have breakfast if you requested the manager and if you involved the event early in the morning. The chefs cooked delicious food for breakfast and dinner. Secure car park provided. As we turned up very late and left early I couldn't utilise its facility however within the short time of the period I had a very good experience in this property. As I came late and due to the heavy rain I couldn't find the exact location however the manager guided me well. Thanks for that. Overall, an excellent experience.

Hotel and room were like new. Nice pool to cool off in and sensational viewing from both our balcony and the roof top lounge area. Walking distance to many restaurants. Great service from the staff and the meals were excellent. Secure under cover parking for our tuk tuk was a bonus. Highly recommend staying at Pearl Drop Waves.

It's a 15 minute walk to the main beach (where you can sit and swim), but I didn't mind at all. :)

A good hotel run by a nice family. I loved the roof top view over the ocean! The food was really good and they even got a swimming pool. The owner was very helpful and arranged a tuk tuk ride for a good price for me. I definitely recommend this place!!

Location- so close to Coconut Tree Hill! Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. We had a good fridge, water,balcony views of the ocean! The staff were so friendly, very helpful and always available. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka! Highly recommend this place! Great value for money!

Booked the hotel for 18 nights and it was great stay/ great decision! Eranga and his team are super friendly and kind. They are all super helpful, Eranga helped me book tours for safaris and pick up and transfer to the airport. Not only that as tours are super early they make sure to prepare for me a really nice breakfast to take while I was in the tour. The views from the hotel are amazing, I recommend going upstairs to the rooftop. One thing to consider is that the beach from the hotel it’s rocky so you’ll need special shoes to get in, but you can walk in the beach and it’s quite nice. Also in the mornings you can see local people fishing traditionally. Location is amazing, the only sound you hear is the waves or the peacocks once in a while. You have Mirissa beach, coconut hill, parrot rock 100 mts walk. Breakfast everyday was amazing, you can choose many options of breakfast between western and Sri Lankan! Chicken curry was one of my favorites or omelette with cheese or Sri Lankan and waffles :) Honestly each day kept getting better and better, and since the staff knew what I like they sometimes had details with me like an extra waffle a bigger pot of coffee. Really appreciated it :) Also, if you are hungry evening or night they have a huge menu to cook for you dinner/ lunch. About room cleaning, its not done everyday as a rule in the hotel if you are staying more than one night but if you ask for it the team will be more than happy to clean the room for you and change towels. But overall the hotel and rooms are super clean all the time. It’s true that the bathroom some times smells like humidity but it’s not continuous and it’s not annoying or awful as I saw people added in their comments.

Owner and crew were more than helpful our entire stay, organizing transfers for us and providing great advice for what to do. The food was delicious every morning and the one dinner we had there was the best food we had in our Sri Lankan trip

They provide guide for snorkelling but it’s really costly. The snorkelling they said would be around 6-7000 LKR per person; but in the beach it was only 2000 LKR for two people.

The property was really clean and the room was nice. The view was really pretty in the morning. It’s close to mirissa beach, turtle point, and the coconut Tree hill. The food (breakfast) was really amazing. We chose the srilankan breakfast and really loved it. The host is a really nice guy and is friendly. Totally worth the money!!!
