Access was tricky as it is in many hotels in Ella. To get the views you must climb.

The view was spectacular. All rooms facing the view . Staff were very attentive, courteous, efficient. The food buffets were very tasty and value for money . Wi Fi was good. Plenty of hot water. Comfortable beds and we all slept well. The beautiful pool has been recently renovated and the final decorative touches are still on going.

There was black mould in the bathroom and had a weird smell. The hot water wasn’t very hot, and there was no sheets. Very expensive for what you get.

The staff were lovely and helpful, carried our bags up the numerous steps and were very friendly. View was beautiful.

Wonderful views across Ella and close to town. The new general manager Sura was delightful. He gave us so much information and helped us with our onward journey with great tips on where to go. He arranged a car to Sigria for us straight away avoiding Uber. The sunset dinner special was really special..

It would be good to have some pool towels provided and towel for drying hands in the bathroom

Great spot close to the train tracks for a few different walks. Pool was excellent and the food was very good. Nice staff!

This was my favourite stay in Sri Lanka. The hotel has a such a good view and also the swimming pool is a plus. You can easily watch the sunset from there without going to Little Adam's peak. From here, you can easily walk to the city, without using the tuktuk (you can just go through the railways). Breakfast was amazing.

We had to move rooms as the upper level noise transference from room next door was very bad. The staff accommodated this which we were very thankful for. Stairs uneven and steep so take care if you stay there.

Amazing views, great pool, attentive staff and a short walk (5 mins) along to train tracks to the bustling main town. Staff even made us a packed lunch at 4:30am before our safari trip!

The rooms were basic. The beds were made of plywood and the rooms not painted well. We also found a mouse in my sons bedroom

The room we stayed in had paper thin walls, so you could hear everything in the next door room, even when they’re not being noisy and just chatting. The curtains were a bit musty and let all the light in, in the morning. The door was also frosted glass and so also let the balcony light and then sunlight in. Everything was clean but a bit scruffy, just needs a lick of paint!

Most likely one of the best views in Ella. Easy to walk into town. Lovely staff who were very helpful and organised our onward transfer to Udawalawe and Mirissa.

Breakfast is good with local and international options, hot hoppers served from the kitchen. The room was spacious and had a fabulous view. Hotel location is a bit uphill, pick-me (local Uber) won't drop you off due to its proximity to the Ella railway station, just take a tuk-tuk. Discover a shortcut from the hotel to the center of town, where all the restaurants and activities. Service is great and all are genuinely helpful. Hotel food is great and cooked fresh, must try the spicy devil fish with vegetable rice.
