Not that I didn’t like but the restaurant was separate and across the street. And the toilet shower design didn’t make sense but it’s all good. 😊

We went in 6 pax and booked two rooms. Both rooms were beautiful but the family room is something else!! It’s something else, like a hall but so comfy and gives homey feelings. The restaurant is across the street but their food was amazing too! Staff was so friendly and helpful at all times.

Worst thing: That Train, that’s is horrible every day from 4am they start running around hotel it is really playing on nerves. Next thing is Insects, DO NOT OPEN WINDOWS OR BALCONY AT NIGHT?!!! Never !!! Gigantic cockroaches waiting for opportunity to fly inside , maybe will be not bad to install nets.

Few things were there. On the second day of stay there was a water leak from the AC. After we inform that no action was taken untill we call again and remind the staff. Later they provided another room. In the new room there was an issue with the wifi. When we inform the staff got the easy answer it is due to adverse climate. But once I come out of the room outside wifi was working properly. It was a connectivity issue. When I complain again they came back and placed a router to sort it out. Worse thing was I wanted to check out early as I had to deliver a lecture so I informed the staff over the same on the previous day night and settled all the bills as well so that in morning I can leave without a delay and informed the time that I am expecting to leave as well. But to my surprise when we came down there was no body at the reception and both entrance door and the parking gate was locked. This coursed me delay around half an hour even after clearly explaining that I had to leave early with the reason. Overall the place is not bad but I believe the staff need to be a little more responsible.

Hotel is just next to the railway track, so at times you hear the train sounds. You have to cross the main road and walk a bit to the beach. However, the beach nearby was not suitable to swim. But a nice view. Hotel's restaurant is not attached to the hotel, you have to cross the road and walk about 100-150m to that.

The room was spacious. Has a tub. Rooms are quite new and were well cleaned. The staff was very helpful. They even showed us the room even before check-in. There was no disturbance from the staff. Hotel has a rooftop with a pool, an awesome place to hangout. Has enough space for parking.

I had a pleasant stay with my family. Stayed in 3 bedroom apartment. All of rooms are large and beds were very good. There is a functioning kitchen thus we were able to cook some food. There were 2 large bathtubs which are very rare in Sri Lanka.

The price on booking.com not the last price of the hotel. They charged extra 10% on total. Even though we had not a big issue, There was a train track near by the hotel. Therefore, you will here loud noise every hour or half an hour due to the train by pass. We booked a room which is mention as Dulex Room on booking but there was not a hairdryer so it would be better if you can add a hair dryer at least for dulex room type.

We spent their only a night but we had pleasant stay. The plus point is clean hotel perticulery our room was well cleaned and arranged. Only the thing is we did not like they charged an extra 10% on final room price on arrival, even though they have not mentioned on boooking.com. Overally a good place to stay in Hikkaduwa.

Nothing regarding the hotel itself but the taxi they arranged to the airport had the worst driver we have ever encountered.

Large room with very large balcony. Very good bathroom with bathtub. View of countryside and train line. Although close to train line we did not find it disturbed our sleep. Very nice pool and area to relax on roof with good views. WiFi mostly okay. TV had some English news channels and some other English channels. They let us into the room early when we arrived. Generally room etc very clean however you had to request cleaning during your stay. Enjoyed our stay and the feeling of space.

One thing disappointed us, which is that the restaurant staff was not friendly at all, Suranga was the person who totally destroyed our pleasant experience, It seems like they don't want to see Sri Lankans in the restaurant, it's very pathetic to see this kind of incident in this industry and it's ridiculous to see that they don't serve locals properly, we didn't come there as beggars we also came to spend money. It's totally disappointing.

Everything was perfect the location is superb since it's accessible for everything. The room, the facilities everything is superb and so is the staff. We were very well looked after by the hotel staff, they were very friendly and hospitable. It's amazing place except for their restaurant it's very dull and the staff is not hospitable at all.

This hotel is located near railways, and it is very noisy when train is passing through. Also, furniture is not new and you can hear a lot of sounds. AC sometimes is not working good.

We took 3-rooms apartment, and price is quite good if we share between 3 families for example. There is huge hall in apartments with kitchen and all needed stuff. Personnel is very friendly, laundry is fine.
