IndiaBad reception - We did not go to reception area. Rather - to a secondary section of hotel - which is a separate property - has 4-5 rooms only. Looks like guest house. No dinner - We reached the hotel late evening and was told that we do not have dinner here and we can not make dinner for you. Imagine your guest coming after a long tiring journey and they get this news when they reach hotel! Lizard in bathroom - we entered bathroom and there were lizards. Would appreciate if hotel take care of this by putting proper measure. Our kids got scared Host just put our luggage in room and told us - go out for dinner and I am also going out now to see a doctor. He was not warm and friendly. We asked for some cutlery - and it was not washed properly - very unhygienic. We asked for some coffee for breakfast and they said - it will be charged. While our breakfast was included - tea and coffee is basic which every hotel provides. Only good part was - that they provided some sandwiches for our yala safari in morning. Looks like only 2 people are managing it overall and they do not care much about the guest! Very very bad experience overall!

BelgiumThe main problem was that additional tax of 3% of the amount when we did the checkout. On the booking reservation it’s written « all taxes included » and the owner told us when we arrived that we could pay the room and the food with visa without letting us know anything about a tax. Once the payment arrived he asked us to pay a different amount and when I was wondering what this was for, the answer was very agressiv and saying that it’s completely usual to add 3% percent when you pay with visa but during a 3 weeks trip in Sri Lanka and a lot of payment with visa, we haven’t had that tax even once beside there. There was also so many insects and mosquitos in the room and on the pillows of the chair. But mainly it’s really sad to leave that place with that feeling of agression when all the other people we met during that trip in sriLanka were so nice to us.

Germanya/c was extremely loud and somewhat broken so at night you had to get up every two hours to turn it on to cool down the room and then again turn it off to fall asleep. I stayed one night short and still had to pay full price for the last night.

IndiaPool and the garden view rooms are in different compounds which are across a small stream. No Room service was provided so had to go to the Pool side facility for breakfast etc. Too many mosquitoes couldn’t eat breakfast and dinner in peace. Food was good though. TV didn’t work. Location is 100-150 mts from the main road.
Host who provides good information about Yala, can arrange taxi to and from the hotel. Top notch arrangement for Yala Safari. Good outside area - to view garden etc but can’t sit in mornings or evenings because of mosquitoes

SwitzerlandSame Wifi name for room and pool area, so you have to rewrite the password every time.
Nice pool, the food was excellent and very well presented. Also very affordable prices for the quality. Definitely a top place to stay at ! Services for Safari tour also was quite convenient.
