One very small criticism would be the blind in the bathroom would be better off as two blinds rather than one for easy access, in and out.

Our whole experience was exceptional. From the staff who were caring and attentive, to the delicious, fresh and creative food choices. Location is also excellent. We would 100% recommend staying here.

The only issue we had was with other guests ‘reserving’ the limited number of loungers near the pool or in the shade. The hotel staff didn’t seem to mind if guests reserved a lounger for hours at a time without using it. In some cases, even leaving the resort property with the lounge chair ‘reserved’ with a towel and a hat. If people just used them when they wanted them, they would always be available. I wish the staff had intervened. This happened every day of our stay, was pretty aggravating. I believe Riff Hotel should revisit their policy on this.

It's such a beautiful Place. The people there are friendly and like a big family. Especially Benisha, such a lovely women. She has always a smile for you - I hope she will be there when i come back in a year :)

Great location - the beach in front of the hotel is wide and sandy with hardly any people. Our room, the Presidential Suite was absolutely amazing. A huge beautiful space with great sea views. The breakfast space is lovely by the pool with cooling sea breeze. The staff are lovely - the transfers arranged by hotel with their driver were the best ones we had during our trip to Sri Lanka.

Some people seemed to smoke on their balcony, so sometimes there was a bad smoking smell on our balcony too. It would be nice if there is a smoking prohibition for the whole hotel. Also the waves are brutal sometimes - so it was not safe to go into the ocean when we were there. But: There is a lovely bay (20 minutes beachwalk) where you can go swimming safely. Just good to know.

The rooms were super nice with an amazing view. The bathroom is very modern and bright. The service personell was super nice and welcoming at every touchpoint. The beach is lovely, great for long beach walks as it is endless.

The pricing, albeit on the higher end, felt entirely reasonable considering the quality of service, amenities, and overall experience. It was a worthwhile investment for such a special occasion.

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to one of the most stunning rooms we have ever stayed in, a generous gesture acknowledging our special occasion. The room's design and comfort were impeccable, making our stay exceptionally memorable. A major highlight was the pool area, complemented by beachside drink and food service. Lounging by the pool, soaking in the sun while sipping on refreshing drinks, and enjoying delicious food was the epitome of relaxation.
