The food and beverage cost is a little high. The beverage selection can be improved to include wheat beer, and other popular brands in whiskey / single malts

Everything ! From the moment we entered till the moment we left it was all very amazing. The staff are very friendly and trying to help with anything. The rooms are very nice with every amenities you can think of. Great view from the balcony with a good A/C and fan. The rooftop bar is great for a sundowner or a stroll along the beach ia also nice

We love Riff Hikkaduwa. Came already couple of times and will be back for sure again. People in the hotel are super friendly, very welcoming and quality of service is excellent and the food is brilliant. As we stayed around the Sinhalese New Year celebrations, the hotel prepared beautiful ceremonies, dinner and we got beautiful gift (The lungi) to wear. Amazing and thoughtful touch. Facilities are great - stunning pool, nice and clean gym, library and big plus is high speed WIFI - could do download and photo edits easily. And the location is fab...Narigama beach has so much to offer, you can simply just walk for hrs and enjoy the sound of the ocean, dip in the ocean or take some surf lessons.

Breakfast was great, location was obviously beach front but not close enough to the main beach bars to be noisy or too busy. Pool was excellent and rooftop bar was great for the sunset. Room was extremely spacious and finished to an extremely high standard

The only downfall was the upstairs bar closes at 10:30pm, not ideal if you want to eat late. The food upstairs in the resturant wasn’t as good as the food we had by the pool.

Great facilities in the hotel and the room was just lovely! Bathrobes, slippers, all the toiletries you need and plenty of water, we also received complimentary wine which was such a nice touch. Staff are very attentive and all around the service was great. Pool is open late too which is an added bonus!

After traveling through Sri Lanka for almost two and a half weeks, the Hikkaduwa Riff was our last stop to relax a bit before our flight back. For this it was the perfect place: The entire staff was super nice, courteous and also mentioned criticism regarding the breakfast we could not understand. The resort is really nice, the rooms including sea view were great and also the Japanese Rooftop Restaurant we can highly recommend. Who is looking for a nice and well organized hotel in Sri Lanka will not be disappointed here.

The hotel is new and the room was very clean and comfortable. Stunning view of the ocean and sunsets from the balcony. The beach is 2 minutes from the room, comfortable sun loungers and quality service. Breakfast was very tasty and hearty, service was on par. Were 2 nights and it was an absolute relaxation and a lovely holiday at 100%

Me and my sister booked this as a starting point for our trip to Sri Lanka. Were supposed to have one night here but we extended two times. Everything has been more than we could ever expect. The staff is beyond amazing. We felt so welcome when we arrived and they treated us so nice even though we looked and felt tired after a long travel from Norway. We arrived before check in-time but still they did everything they could to have the room ready earlier and we got access to the gym changing room to freshen up. Everyone in the staff is so kind and helpful and they really do all they can to make you feel welcome and appreciated. The breakfast is perfect and you have so many things to choose from and we didn’t get disappointed one time from what we had. The lunch and dinner menu is also great. The place is amazing and we have enjoyed the pool, the ocean, the sunsets and we released baby sea turtles two days in a row. We love the people, the food and the place. It was sad to leave you, but we will meet again 🫶

the beach is ideal for surfing, however it is not suitable for swimming and/or children due to huge waves (not the hotel's fault of course, just saying in case that is something one is looking for)

Right on the beach, nice pool, great food, I personlly loved the interior design. It was a truly wonderful experience.

A beautiful, stylish and very clean boutique hotel on a quiet beach in Hikkaduwa. The whole thing is perfect! A lovely swimming pool and a long beach for morning and evening walks. Very friendly staff! The most delicious food we ate during our three week vacation in Sri Lanka! All food is clean and beautifully served! Special thanks to the waitress Benisha and other waiters! A wonderful tea shop is connected to the hotel and this tea was also served in the restaurant and in the room. The room was beautiful, clean and with a view of the sea. Good shower and bed. This hotel provided a great end to the vacation! We want to come again! Thank you to the entire Riff staff!
