There is nothing wrong all were set.

The view of the estate and surrounding mountains from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. The facilities, including the cozy room, were exceptional. With CCTV in place, the parking area felt safe and secure. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us reach nearby destinations, making the stay even more enjoyable.

The room was spotless, spacious and we had a lovely view from our balcony. We arrived pretty late but the owner was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to check in around 8 or 9 PM.

Lovely host, feels like a real family run place (which it is). Room was spotless, bed was comfy although pillows could've been better. Shower was ACTUALLY HOT, first hot hot shower in Sri Lanka in over a month. I had food once in the restaurant downstairs, massive portions. Sad I didn't get to sample the breakfast which looked delicious. Location was close to the city centre, you can also walk like 10 mins to a great viewpoint. It was on the road so can be a little loud at night with cars and dogs, so bring ear plugs. The owner also offered a free train station pick up and drop off, and incredibly reasonable price for dropping off at Lipton's seat.

Good location just a short, scenic walk into town. I chose to have dinner and breakfast at the property and they were delicious. The host dropped me at Lipton’s seat early in the morning to watch the sunrise and waited for me to hike down.

Noisy as near to road. Vehicle roaring due to hill. And will be noisy if other room people are singing and all. That's all Nothing much. Hot water is not that hot but not cool as normal water.

Staff is friendly and kind. Room view is the main attraction for me. Calm and quiet have separate entrance. Have parking and security cctv. All good. Can order food from town or from host.

The place is 1.5km before the town so you can't get to the town every time by walking it will be a bit tiring with the mountain walk. You will have to use a three-wheeler which will be an extra cost. You can get food delivered by some hotels in town. If you are using your own transportation, there is no issue at all. and it will be hard to sleep if you are a light sleeper as the rooms are facing the main road and the vehicle engines are roaring as they climb the hill.

The place was very good and scenic; you could see the whole valley from the balcony. Every room has a private balcony with chairs, and you can have a cup of tea from the owners being at the balcony. The room is spacious with the mandatory furniture and a clean bathroom with hot water. Every room has a private entrance and can lock doors with a padlock. You can get the three-wheeler hired by the owner to town or train station if needed. You can get three meals, tea, coffee, and plain tea as needed from the owner. Friendly owners.

Balcony is nice but the traffic is a bit too noisy to chill there.

Bit of a walk from town but we didn’t want to stay in town anyway. Room was nice and spacious. Beautiful views from the window and balcony. The host was a super nice and relaxed guy. He came to pick us up from the train station, which was a complete surprise to us, as we hadn’t seen his message.

I can 100% recommend the accommodation at Sa Rest Inn. It’s located in a beautiful spot, ideally situated in the middle of the 20th stage of the Pekoe Trail. In addition to the large bed and nice bathroom, there’s also a balcony with a beautiful view of the valley and mountains. A really lovely and peaceful place. There’s a restaurant nearby. The owner is a very friendly and fair guy. I had one of the best dinners I’ve had in Sri Lanka. Considering how beautiful the place is, the price is very reasonable. I look forward to my next stay.
