Liked it all, please never change

The standard are so very high in this wonderful guest house with a brilliant kitchen and dining area over looking the ocean, the kitchens were very well equipped with everything you need to cook food which you can get from keels supermarket which is only two minutes walk, the furnishings was of high quality and the place is super clean with lovely bedroom. The highlight of our stay was the owners who are a beautiful sincere couple who see nothing as a problem and help you with any requests you may have. Was sad to leave and will return again for sure

The only thing I would change is the sheets which I found a little rough as I have very sensitive skin.

The owners of the hotel were lovely - helping us with all sorts of things! For example, they arranged a very good boat trip for us on the Madhu river. The rooms are comfortable, the whole place is clean and the roof terrace and kitchen are really very pleasant and well-appointed! The location is great, so close to the beach; also close to the market and shops so everything is on hand.

I wish there are soaps and shampoo in the bathroom. Wastepaper bin and tissues were also missing inside the room.

Beautiful sea view from the rooftop. It has a common kitchenette with all necessary items and refrigerator. Large dining area on the roof top with a beautiful view. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom is super clean with cold and hot water. There is a Keells super within the walking distance for groceries. Ambalangoda town is also within 5 minutes drive. Owner and his family is friendly and helpful.

After six years I finally managed to visit Sri Lanka again, this time with a friend. Had the most wonderful time there and wanted to visit Ambalangoda again. It was fascinating how much Sonali and Brasenna had done in the meantime. Rooms were clean and comfortable as always but now there are even more rooms and a rooftop with hammocks and tables to relax and to enjoy the view on the beach, just a walking distance away. Beach is still clean and not too crowded which offers the perfectly relaxing time. And Sonali is still a brilliant cook and spoiled us a lot. Thank you so much, will come again and stay longer....

This place is amazing! The beach is right in front of the house, and there is a restaurant right around the corner. The best thing was the roof terrace, from where you have an amazing view to the ocean. The owner is super nice and helps you with everything you need. There is a kitchen and a fridge what you can use. The rooms are very big, bright and cleen! I loved my stay there and hope to come back one day!

Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The owner was wonderful. The hotel is well maintained. The beds were very firm, too firm for my liking. The food was good. I, especially, enjoyed the view of the sunset.

Very nice homestay and the family is very very friendly. For ac in your rolm you have to pay 2$ extra, but thats ok I think. To the beach you walk 1 Minute, is ok for a Quick swim, but dont expect a tropical paradise. For food you find some places nearby, just ask

I like the family home ambiance and a mix of living in a non-touristy neighborhood with closeness to the beach. Nice welcoming and helpful hosts did everything to make my stay exceptionally pleasant.
