Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Germanythe location is mixed with old and new buildings, and it is not very inviting to walk around, but it is only 10 minutes drive to the nicer part of Colombo.
The hotel is new, the rooms are modern, the bathrooms stylish, the beds are super comfy and the bed linnens are absolutely perfect. The food is good. For me it is the best place to stay in Colombo.

United KingdomI stayed at the Sheraton at the start and end of my Sri Lanka trip. The early check in and late check out were very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and the beds were very comfortable. All staff were incredibly helpful. Joseph made my arrival and departure a very pleasant experience. I also had two excellent massages with Dinesha who helped me relieve back pain before travelling. I warmly recommend her to anyone who wants to have a relaxing yet effective treatment.

Shower gel, shampoo, etc. were provided in big bottles. But housekeeping forgot to fill up the shower gell. Apart from such minor issues. Everything else was perfect.

United KingdomRang for 24 hour room service mid afternoon but there was no answer. That was distressing since I had travelled all day and had not eaten. More, I think the dinner buffet is too expensive. I am gluten intolerant and there should have been a discount to me because most items had gluten. I won't eat there again. If you had offered me a discount, I would return but you did not. Your competition, Tranz Cinnamon automatically gave me a discount without asking. Plus, your competition has food allergy symbols on cards in front of every buffet dish.

We loved everything at Sheraton. The room was beautifully decorated to welcome us for our honeymoon. Thanks to the Front Office Manager and whole team. You made our stay memorable:-) The food was excellent. The spa beautiful decorated with professional therapist. Thanks to the young lady who took care of me. We enjoyed the roof top with great music and delicious cocktail. We are planning every year to renew our vows.

Sri LankaExcellent facilities and service at a great location. The Sheraton at Colombo made for an amazing stay based on its central location and excellent service. We were given an upgraded room based on my Marriott status and had access to the lounge which made for a relaxing area for a bite or a beverage. Rooms were spacious and had an excellent view of the ocean, which made for a serene experience when one woke up and during the day. What topped it all off was the excellent service and the help offered, be it for a list item on our flight in, or other hotel amenities. The breakfast spread was top notch with tons of varieties and customizations! Recommend it highly if you’re planning on a visit to Colombo!

Sri LankaThe staff here are extremely welcoming and attentive. That's the first thing that struck us as we walked into the hotel. While making conversation when checking in we mentioned to Carder the duty Manager that the reason for our stay was my wife's birthday. He very kindly upgraded us to a "Club" room on a high floor and had a small cake and card sent up to the room when we got in. Very touching gesture! The room was tastefully furnished, comfortable, clean and had all the modern amenities with a great view of the sea and part of the city. A perfect location for business or vacation!

Not very soundproof as there was a baby crying in the room next to me that prevented me from sleeping. Can’t fault the hotel but soundproofness could be better
