I had a wonderful stay here during our 6 nights in Sri Lanka. Great location, nice restaurant, delicious snacks, and most of all, the most amazing staff. The free garden tours by the staff were a great introduction, and the team went out of their way to make sure we had all the logistics we needed. Bravo! Best dinner buffet enjoyed in Sri Lanka. super spa. It is authentic and local. Tip – Take a little time outdoors to enjoy animal details & if you need help, contact any staff.

I stayed last week at Sigiriya Jungles for our first Sri Lankan visit. I am so impressed with the reception staff and overall service. Having visited other Asian cities, Malaysia and India, Sigiriya Jungle Hotel staff are definitely friendly & polite. It is close to many attractions and pleasant to walk around. Great wines & cocktails, ambience, and good food.

The buffet and the breakfast were fantastic, thanks to chef hirantha and his young crew. Everyday the buffet was different en surprised us. The pool is nice. The bathrooms in the apartment could use a update ( we could not open the windows). All of the staff was really nice. The tuktuk they provided was expensive, not helpfull and could hardly speak english. We used pickme instead. The spa was good

We stayed at Sigiriya Jungles during our vacation in Sri Lanka last week, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotel is centrally located, and major landmarks and attractions are easily reachable. The complimentary garden tour provided by the hotel was excellent. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Our rooms were clean, quiet, and updated, and our family was given adjacent rooms as requested. Breakfast service was exceptional, and the food choices were excellent. We also get to enjoy the spa. My husband accidentally left his wallet in the safe upon departure, and the hotel securely returned it during departure. Overall, our stay at Sigiriya Jungles was outstanding, and we highly recommend it!

It is in the best location if you are looking to hike Lion Rock and see the surrounding attractions. Super rooms & the pool was very peaceful and a great place to relax after a morning hike. The quality of the A la Carte food was also super good. The open restaurant area was extremely beautiful, and many superb foods in the buffet. We spoke to the chef regarding recommendations; he took us & explained the buffet, and there was a buffet for the breakfast & dinner. The reception staff all gathered & waved when we were leaving the hotel, We missed this hotel…..

This has to be one of the calmest atmospheres I've been in while travelling Sri Lanka. The pool and Spa were very relaxing. The food here was fabulous. Breakfast had a great spread and loved the Sri Lankan corner. They play live music during dinner and complemented the great spread offered. Will return to Sri Lanka and this resort will be in the top of my mind. Until then I bid farewell to the kindest staff of SigiriyaJungles.

This hotel should be a top choice for anyone staying in Sigiriya. Besides being in a great location, it offers an outstanding level of service and amazing value. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. The housekeeping & restaurant staff, in particular, were helpful in so many ways. The hotel itself is lovely, with a very relaxed vibe. The buffet breakfast that is included offers a huge variety of options. We stayed for one night in a lovely room. We will return for another 2 nights soon.

Very nice!

I stayed at many 5-star resorts before coming here, and my experience at Sigiriya Jungles surpasses that! The staff made me feel so welcome! Special shout out to the ladies at the reception :) who showed me all the spots to check out during my stay in Sigiriya! She gave amazing recommendations and influenced me to come back another day because there was so much to do! When we checked in, she gave us a map of the area with must-see places. Location: It doesn’t get any better than this. You are in the heart of Old Town. Room: We made reservations to visit Loin Rock; a room (deluxe +) was magnificent!!! So spacious and clean! The housekeepers also did an excellent job at cleaning. Food: Breakfast was an amazing buffet; we had Sri Lankan food as well as Western breakfast classics. There’s an egg station where you can get eggs done, however, and you can even get eggs Benedicts!

The rooms are getting a bit outdated and need a little bit of touch.

The pool is quiet nice, the spa is beautiful so is the massages. Food is quiet nice and the staff all around the hotel are very friendly since we arrived till the end. The rooms are very spacious with amenities they are outdoor secluded with bird sounds and wonderful views.

- Does not feel like a 5 star hotel at all - No vegan food at the restaurant which is weird for Sri Lanka - you can hear people walk by your room very loudly - bathrooms somewhat dirty - digusting coffee served in the restaurant, most likely instant - just lacks soul - we were not shown around the property when we arrived. Only after 2 days we discovered that they had a gym and book exchane. - Wifi is a joke.

I found two things this place could improve. First and most important thing is A la carte menu. Quality of food is not worth the money. We have tried multiple items and were not really satisfied. On the other hand buffet menu is outstanding so we decided to choose that instead and it elevated the experience of our stay in the hotel. Second thing that could make me happier would be a waiter coming to pool area every now and then so I don't need to walk to bar to order.

Staff was very welcoming and eager to assist, they even changed our mattress on request in a minutes. Rashmi and Ayesha were really helpful during our stay. Pool area is really nice, it was so relaxing to be there, sunbath and have some drinks. I also took spa package no.1 and felt really relaxed and happy after. They did such a good job.

My room was next to the pool and I am a light sleeper the receptionist Sakura upgraded me to a sweet room for free.

The minute I arrived I felt welcomed even if I was solo traveling I felt safe and at home with the staff checking on me all the time making a big deal every time they see me. I had a dietary requirements but accommodated well with different options all the time. I went for safari with the hotel jeep it felt like a private tour with amazing driver explaining everything checking on my comfort. The sweet was spacious and quiet with the garden view,on my last day they arranged late check out too. The waitress and waiter were all aware of my food requirements and drink choices giving me personalized service all the time specially Umesh the supervisor with his smiley face and welcoming approach ,Chamika was my waiter who was attentive and professional. The massage therapist was listening to my request and adjusting the pressure since the traditional massage is more relaxing only. The pool has a nice vibe whether to jump in for swim or relaxing with your book and cocktails. While dinner is being setup Joska will make your experience uplifted with his music and Guitar until the buffet dinner is finished every other day of the week and when he is not there the local music will be played live with the local instruments.

It was without a doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed in during my time in Sri Lanka! Upon arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us, our names were mentioned, and we were upgraded. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (I appreciate this!), and the restaurant Manager deserves special thanks. We had a great evening here, which obviously also added up to the experience. In the evening we did a village trekking which was guided by Ayesha, who works as an Officer in the Front Office. She has such a warm personality and a highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking the two of us through the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relief to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural bath at the end was a great way to end the trekking.

Characterful room with comfortable bed. Great space and layout for 2 people's belongings. The bathroom was huge, and the shower was excellent—the best during our two-week tour of Sri Lanka. Breakfast is great with a big choice. Lovely, hospitable & fantastic staff. We had an absolutely wonderful stay, the hotel staff was extraordinarily helpful and friendly, and we particularly enjoyed the dry martini on the terrace! The location and the views were excellent as well, and we would definitely stay here again!

There are so many hotels to choose from in Sigiriya - we decided on Sigiriya Jungles, We were very impressed. Booked online, we were granted early check-in and an upgrade. We were very pleased with the room; it had plenty of storage space, an extremely comfortable bed, a nice layout, and a free-standing shower, and the shower in the tub had excellent water pressure and bath products. We normally are not breakfast people, but it was included and it was enjoyable, again good service, and high-quality offerings. The location was great; we went on several long walks, and we easily walked to the main road. We particularly enjoyed exploring the Lion Rock, the Cave Temple Dambulla, and other temples. Special praise to Bar. We love a great hotel bar while travelling, and this bar is delivered in ambience and service. We like to grab a pre-dinner drink, and then often, if we like a place, we'll skip coffee at our restaurant and return to the bar for a nightcap or coffee. The bar was lively and warm, and the music selection (both playlist and live music) was excellent. Gorgeous, elegant, but non-stuffy gem. We'll be back for sure!
