This is nothing to do with the hotel but a warning that Tuk Tuk or taxi drivers may offer to take you to a herbal garden. We were taken to herbal garden no 1. The tour is interesting but the shop is extortionate and I suspect is all a scam - also see Tripadvisor reviews. Wish I had read them before I went!!

Excellent pool. Lovely to see monkeys swoop down and drink from the pool. We could also see them from our room. Very cute but don't leave clothes hanging on your balcony! Staff were really lovely. Very friendly and helpful. We were given free lunch one day and a pack lunch when we left.

Beautiful hotel- lovely open pool and really helpful staff who organised our tuk tuk to Lions rock, Elephant Safari, dinner in town and journey on to Trinco. Would recommend doing the elephant Safari in the afternoon as there is a higher chance of seeing them. A la cart and buffet options available. We enjoyed the Sri Lankan curry options and seafood choices. Spacious room with a balcony and large bathroom with a bath and shower. Lovely spaces around the hotel to relax, there is a bridge view point to see the sunset. Jungle feel with peacocks, monkeys and dogs around. After check out we were given a takeaway lunch for our journey, lovely touch! One of the most beautiful places we have stayed in during our time in Sri Lanka.

Nothing as such all was perfect as it is on a natural habitat setting and tropical climate I would say insects are common. Please get insect repellents with you .

It is exceptionally placed well in a green surrounding. 15 mins to Sigiriya Rocks. Facilities are good. Games room , Billiards Room. Nice pool . Natural habitation so well placed for us as we love the ambiance in a natural setting. The staff is exceptionally polite, helpful and cheerful. They do their best always. On our check out day they also packed lunch boxes for our way which is very very thoughtful. I would highly recommend them.

Sigirya Jungles is a state of the art hotel! Staff is very friendly and always their to help! Especially Sanjana always took good care of our needs with a happy smile. The spa is excellent and the pool one of the best we had. The hotel has a very good atmosphere. When we left they even thought about giving us a small lunch box, which was a great surprise.

Nothing, we loved everything

We loved everything and nearly shed a tear when we said our goodbyes. Got a small lunch bag when we left, one of the many thoughtful gestures we experienced. Staff is excellent, so helpful and kind, and with a great humor as well. Swimmingpool area is amazing, and we saw monkeys everyday, great entertainment 😂 Spa is also fantastic. Restaurant and Food is great and with a wide selection. We can only give Sigiriya Jungles our best recommendations and hope to come back one day with our kids 🙏🏽😊❤️

Every thing was super

A much needed break, and SigiriyaJungles hospitality ensured that it was a memorable one. This is a beautifully designed property in nature that makes you truly forget about the city. The food & restaurant staff were amazing and was a highlight. Their uniquely designed Ayuveda Spa is a must visit. Looking forward to visit again.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

It was a stay with fond memories. Staff were very friendly and courteous and we were made to feel very welcome. Rooms are spacious and cozy, location is nice. You get up to the sounds of birds chirping away and the quietness that we enjoyed the most. The food was great! Thank you, Chef Hirantha, we really enjoyed the lovely spread. The evening entertainment was wonderful. Will definitely be coming back again.

Had an amazing time at this hotel! The food was divine, and the pool and gym were on point with great facilities. The staff were super friendly, always ready to help with a smile. The landscaping has been thoughtfully carried out and really makes you feel like you’re in a slice of paradise and the spa really seals the deal. Stunning blend of tradition and comfort when it comes to the architectural approach of the hotel. Whether chilling in the room or wandering the grounds, every moment was pure relaxation.

My husband and I had a perfect holiday at SigiriyaJungles. From arrival to departure, we were treated with warmth, and we felt very comfortable. The rooms were spacious and elegant. Architecturally a beautiful place. The F&B Manager was always with a "YES", The food was scrumptious, and the buffet had a good variety. We also had a nice walk along the village and the hotel is surrounded by paddy cultivation. We will for sure return.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel last week, after a few years, having stayed there when it was opened newly. We were so very impressed with outstanding service standards and attentive and friendly staff who paid attention up to the minutest detail. The Food exceeded our expectations offering a diverse and delicious spread. overall the hotel had made tremendous progress in enhancing the guest experience and it was a very pleasant and memorable stay. Clean rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. Facilities are modern and upto date. Food and service was amazing. A big plus point for the architecture. Unlike the other hotels around, Sigiriya Jungles give a more authentic experience since the architecture is inspired by the Sigiriya Kingdom itself not forgetting that the hotel has an amazing view of Sigiriya rock. The food was top notch and ask for the village cycle tour and other activities the hotel offers. Overall great place to unwind and would go there again!

Absolutely nothing ( The hotel was amazing)

The hotel was based in Sigiriya, which is rich in Sri Lankan history. I really enjoyed the service of the staff they treated me exceptionally and attended to everything I required. The food, swimming pool, gym and Ayurveda spa was of high quality and was a perfect way to distress from the corporate world. The hotel offers transport at a reasonable fee to visit the Sigiriya rock fortress and another site called Pindurangala which has many historic sites. Lastly the Sri Lankan architecture of the hotel was the most pleasing factor as the hotel had an open view (360 view) to the nature its surrounded in and was amazing to relax and have a drink to end the night.

We had a wonderful stay at Sigirya Jungles. The staff were very friendly and rooms were very comfortable. One thing I loved most about this hotel were the different relaxing spots especially the tree house like structure overlooking the paddy fields. We were also able to rent bicycles and explore the surrounding area which included lakes with a view of the Sigirya rock and cultivations. The hotel is located very close to the key attractions in Sigirya. We had covered the main attractions in Sigirya before so we had some time to do a half a day trip to Polonnaruwa. Looking forward to our next visit.

The stay was excellent and the hotel was amazing, great value for money. The food and service was top tier. The surrounding village area is very peaceful and we were able to enjoy a walk around the village and a nearby lake. There is also an in house spa. The hotel is very close to the sigiriya rock and other historic places, transport can be arranged from the hotel itself for a fee.

This property is stunning. The minute you go through the gates you are in an oasis. The staff are attentive, caring and professional and the rooms are delightful. The bed is very comfortable and sheets so soft. The food is exceptional. We didn’t want to leave this property. The restuarant has a beautiful view out over the pool and is open air for the fresh air. We hope to be back.
