As a woman travelling alone with my son, I could not have felt more safe or looked after by these guys. The genuine care was so clear, actively making sure we had the right price for things. As we left, when the front desk guys saw me carrying bags they literally ran to help me! The support was generous but at no point smothering and because everything was so appropriately priced I never felt like they had another motive, they simply cared. The vibes are so good here, I worried about having my 6year old boy at a place called Simply Peace interrupting the ambiance but everyone commingled so well. The property is gorgeous and stunning value. We had a great trip to Silent beach from here

Incredible villas set in the most beautiful surroundings, in between a lake and the beach. Immaculate pool area and outdoor gym with huge yoga studio. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and big! Don’t worry if you think it’s far out, the staff will help you arrange taxis and tuk tuks if you need!

Beautiful place with fantastic beach! Peaceful location, lovely bungalows, almost lonely beach with monkeys all around.The staff and service are amazing! Thanks a lot for such a hospitality and friendly staff! Special thanks for the food, eatings deserve lots of compliments! Definitely the place to come back!! We spent a week there, then moved to Hikkaduwa beach and remembered that week in Simply Peace with warm feelings constantly! Many thanks to the whole team! We' ll come back 100%!

Absolut lovely place and a must if you want to have a calm and beautiful place to stay at when you travel the south of Sri Lanka. The cabines are beautiful and very clean. We really enjoyed the stay and it was the best Hotel that we stayed in during our 3 Week vacation. Special highlights for me where the following: - super clean and beautiful pool and chill area that allowed us to really calm down and get a bit of rest. - Easy driving service organised be the hotel (they have their own cars with drivers) for super fair prices. In all cases we had super good and friendly drivers and the price was never higher than PickMe, but rather lower. - General friendliness of the staff and the owner was really amazing. We did also have a special situation, as my girlfriend got bitten by a dog at a random beach in Tangalle. The second we called the owner about the situation he organised everything for us, so when we got back to the hotel everything was organised for my girlfriend to get the vaccine against rabies. He pre called the hospital, reacted super understanding and supportive and he even drove us personally to the hospital, waited for us (until we told him he did not have to) and then send a car to pick us up. All of that was completely free of charge and afterwards the whole staff was constantly asking whether everything was good and cared even more. All in all a perfect location to feel save and supported so you can fully enjoy your vacation and reload your batteries. Fully recommend 11/10

The best place we stayed at in Sri Lanka! 12/10 would recommend! The staff is super lovely, welcoming and attentive. Especially I like to point out that they are super helpful. Whatever you need - also in emergencies - they help you super quickly! Also, they have very good drivers to take you wherever you need to go for a fair price. Apart from that the hotel is absolutely stunning. It’s so calming to stay there and just enjoy nature and the pool. Everything is super well maintained, the rooms are with a lovely interior, you have everything you need and it’s all super clean. Outside there are so many cool plants and animals to watch, for example monkeys.

We should call this place “Perfect Peace”! Everything is perfect: the spacious bungalow-style rooms, both simple and stylish, set far enough apart from each other; the garden beautifully lit at night; the pool with its view of the lagoon’s birds; the fresh and delicious food; the deserted beach just a three-minute walk away, where you can swim safely while watching the colorful fishing boats waiting for their time to set sail. But above all, the smiles, kindness, and constant attentiveness of the team and the owner, who anticipate your every need, make this place truly special. Even the dignified and silent cat, the peacocks, and the little dogs are gentle, discreet, and welcoming. We can only echo all the excellent reviews already posted. We are, however, regular annual visitors to Sri Lanka and over the years have travelled in many different areas of the country and experienced many different accommodation options. 'Simply Peace' stands out as one of our best choices. We were lucky enough to spend 16 nights there, longer than most guests, and it was an absolute joy. From its gorgeous location by a scenic lagoon to the lovely garden and pool - so beautifully maintained, to the best service throughout. The staff all work so well together with our daily needs and wants always provided with courtesy and cheerful smiles. Our bungalow was spacious, comfortable and well designed. The restaurant and attractive little bar area always open and welcoming. The food fresh and and tasty. The standard of cleanliness and laundry service all excellent too. Simply Peace has a superb Manager in Suresh and we must mention the 'front of house' duo, Chamika and Pancilu. Thank you and to all the Simply Peace team for making our visit so special.

We had high expectations based on the reviews and it didn’t disappoint - there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Simply Peace is a beautiful place to stay, it’s so relaxing and really enables you to switch off. It was exactly what we needed after a busy week exploring the Hill Country - it was a stunning pool to lie by for a few days and very comfortable, modern and spacious room. The young staff are a credit to the hotel; so kind, polite and attentive without being overbearing - we felt really taken care of and in good company. The manager, Suresh, goes out of his way to care for and get to know his guests. We had a minor medical issue and Suresh was kind enough to organise a driver to get us to Colombo and back at an incredibly reasonable rate and spoke to the hospital on our behalf. Simply Peace is a must if you’re visiting the South Coast.

It was cash only and very far from town. There was a a cash point in the nearby village, but that was quite a walk away. Would have spent more if we could have paid on card. The menu wasn’t that big - we were dissuaded from ordering the Sri Lankan curry at lunch, tried again at dinner and the team tried to dissuade us again - was a bit weird?

The pool was great, the views of the lake were amazing, especially at sunset.

Everyone was so helpful and friendly, the staff goes out of their way for the guests. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. I loved spending time by the pool bird watching. Would stay again and highly recommend!

We had an AMAZING stay at Simply Peace hotel ! Everything was perfect : - beautiful room with space and nice decoration - beautiful infrastructures : pool, gym, yoga room, garden, lounge, restaurant… - delicious breakfast - great location and quiet - and the best of the best : the manager and employees of the hotel did everything to make us feel on holidays - the service was incredible good and they were all very friendly, always smiling 😊 We extended our stay there because we loved it so much! We definitely recommend to stay at the Simply Peace, one of the best hotel experience I’ve ever had 🩷

Amazing place and service! We stayed in many 5-star accommodations during our travels, but this place has much better service. The people are amazing—friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. The villas are very clean and beautiful, as is the pool area. The food is also excellent. I can’t recommend it enough!
