WiFi needs improving.

This is a little piece of paradise-tucked into the jungle of a village 7min by tuktuk from Anhangama, this architectural design diamond is a real oasis. If you appreciate small boutique guest houses, this is a great find. The bungalow style comes close to Bawa-tropical minimalism at its best. Comfy rooms with stunning outdoor bathrooms; a glorious cool pool and much garden splendor: mongoose, black face monkeys, kingfishers, oriole and bats at night. The two wonderful gentlemen staff are never too busy to smile and serve tea or a fresh fruit juice- they run the house and the garden with calm, kind generosity. Breakfast is either scrumptious local or fruit and eggs.

Stutti villa is like jungle oasis! Really nice and tidy garden, rooms are spacious, clean and we loved the open air bathroom. Asanka and the gardener were really helpfull and kind. We would reccomend this villa to everyone. It is a grate place to rest in the nature and the staff is wondefull!!

I do feel like the value for money could be a little better - for instance when paying close to $90US per night, I think there should be shampoo in the shower and a mosquito net over the bed.

The staff was super friendly, Asanka made us feel super welcome and made a delicious breakfast ☺️a really small cute place that’s perfect for couples. Bonus point for really good coffee 🥰

Excellent coffee was available and attentive friendly staff would regularly check in with us. The villa is beautifully designed to merge aesthetics with nature and Sri Lanka. Big thank you to the staff Asanga and Wasantha who were so kind and helpful with everything.

Incredible villa, nearby the ocean and in the jungle! We had the chance to be at the villa when the owner, Stéphane, was there. Him and his staff were very welcoming and warm hearted. We shared several meal with him, making us feel part of his family. Regarding the villa, it is beyond beautiful and relaxing. Everything is very well taken care of and the staff is at your disposal should you need anything. All the amenities are new and work perfectly. Stephane told us a lot of stories about Sri Lanka and it's experience there which was definetly a plus. We will come back for sure

The room and bathroom were not properly sealed, and we encountered several unwelcome guests (spiders and other insects). The WiFi didn't work. Considering other options closer to town and the beach, this place is not good value for money (keep in mind it's a 25-minute walk, which can feel unsafe at night). The staff member (a single person managing everything in the villa) was friendly at first but started behaving strangely and rudely on the second day. The villa provided towels for the swimming pool, but he never offered them to us—we only realized they were available when we saw other guests using them. It was the night guard who eventually handed us a couple. Similarly, he never mentioned the complimentary tuk-tuk service, which we only found out about later through other reviews. Check-out is very early (10 AM), and this staff member seemed annoyed when we asked to leave our bags there and return later to change before departing. He didn't offer to help with our bags or even say goodbye when we left. The poor service is the main reason I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I didn't realise that there wasn't the ability to have dinner at the hotel and so had to get a tuk back into Ahangama to have dinner. Would have liked the loungers by the pool to have been adjustable and there was a little litter in the gardens which would be easy to stay on top of.

The property was located away from the beach and so was quiet except for the sounds of the monkeys and the jungle. The breakfast was ample, room spacious and loved having a terrace to myself. When I arrived I had a very sore neck and the manager came with me to an Ayurvedic Spa to have a consultation and then organised a tuk tuk to take me home after a treatment he was really helpful and caring.

The place serves only breakfast which means that you have to go out with Tuktuk in order to eat. The bed was very squeaky, every movement made a lot of noise. Also the bathroom roof is not sealed so there were many mosquitoes on the room.

Breakfast - they had a good Sri Lankan spread for us, but the portions of the curries and sambols that came with the hoppers and strings hoppers were not enough at all.

Breakfast was really basic. Preferred eating in the town. No lunch or dinner options at the hotel, was a little tough considering we’re traveling with a baby.

Noise from other rooms, you can hear other people’s snoring. The setting is nice, but I don’t think the location is great: you need to take a tuk tuk to reach the Kabalana beach and also to go to most restaurants. There is no one at night and there are dogs wondering around the property: they have damaged 2 pairs of shoes which I had left just outside my room in the inner yard (the owner apologised and I didn’t pay for the room at the end although shoes value was 3 times the room value), still it felt pretty annoying because this isn’t be a regular thing and they should warn guests. It would have been nice to have mosquito net.

The villa is very well decorated, the setting was nice, the pool too. it’s cleaned and good value for money.

Service is basically non existent. Internet doesn't get to most of the áreas of the hotel. Not even soap in the washroom.

The design of the place and the rooms is really curated and nice.

It’s a beautiful and quiet place to relax. The Villa has a beautiful garden and it is an absolute joy to relax at the pool and watching the birds flying around. The whole garden is in a very good shape and the lovely staff really do a great job maintaining it clean and natural. We have had a lovely room with an outstanding outdoor bathroom. It was super clean, the bed was comfortable and had a mosquito net. The host was fantastic. He takes care of everything and is super friendly, reliable and helps you out with whatever question you have. We have been there at the beginning of our holidays and decided to come back at the end since we enjoyed so much. Definitely a perfect stay if you are looking for a quite place to hide out.
